   It is the week before Christmas but it's not busy to the point that I was the only person in the queue and there were three staff behind the till. The downstairs toilets are out of order, the working toilet was filthy and out of soap. I informed a staff member who then continued their conversation. It was painful to order as I stood there and was ignored and had to ask to order. I had to ask if they would bring my drink to me which they said yes but then called it out once it was done. The table I sat at hadn't been wiped and generally I felt like the standards were extremely poor. Not what I expect of Costa.

   Came in today (16th December) and ordered two drinks. One was a bottle of apple juice and the other was peppermint tea. The apple juice was out of date and so were about 10 other bottles. The rest of them were close to being out of date. The toilets weren't working so everyone was using the disabled toilet - unfortunately my mum couldn't use it as it was filthy and we had to tell the staff to clean it. I also had to inform the staff that the drinks were out of date and only then did one of them check the other dates. Staff seemed a bit Clueless too. When we finally got the peppermint tea, it almost burnt my mum's hand as it was far too hot. We didn't bother going back in. I just held it for her for a while before she could drink it.

   Good location decent atmosphere and staff are friendly enough. I was super excited to try the maple hazelnut latte, my friend who works at another Costa said it was amazing but when I got it, it just tasted like any other latte, it cost like £4.55 I think so I was a bit disappointed. Turns out all the syrup was at the bottom lol they forgot to mix it. My Costa friend said they are supposed to do that so just a quick warning don't be like me mix your drink lol even if it does have whipped cream on it.

   Came in at a hectic period in the evening on a weekend, however the staff kept their cool and still remained very friendly and accommodating. Given the amount of customers coming in, cleaning and clearing up used cups and plates was left on the back burner, which wasn’t great for cleanliness.

   Very slow service, we had to clear our own table. The table was unstable which caused my wife to lose half the contents of her drink. The toilets were dirty. I'm a regular Costa customer. But will not use this one again. When paying premium prices. I expect premium service and cleanliness. It was like a greasy spoon

   Some how Costa always exceeds my expectations, the way they serve their food and drink is excellent, even on the busy day,not like Starbucks, can't cope with a bit of pressure.

   There’s no choice for 0 star otherwise I do that. I haven’t been visit such dirty place in UK like that. Even we need cleanliness now a days more then ever. Btw been there early morning but floor was dirty full of dust & stains n spilled milk coz they didn’t clean it last night or in morning before open. The spoon was dirty full of fingerprints of customers. My sandwich was cold coz they didn’t toasted it well. The tray they served me was dirty even last customer sugar wrap was in there. They sprinkle chocolate all over my cup. Their coffee grinder machine don’t ask about that. U can see in picture urself. Leftovers dirty cups on tables n they didn’t get time to clear tables. Queue was out of door but they were trying to serve everyone quickly.
