    Overcooked coating on grey fish fingers. Come on, you can buy really cheap, lovely white fish fingers from any supermarket. Just dreadful for £12. Tandoori mackerel was like the cinnamon challenge, a mouthful of powered coated mackerel. Couldn’t finish it and have felt sick ever since I forced myself to eat one.

    Such a nice place, the staff are amazing the punters are chilled in the the Iver all atmosphere is on point. Popped in for a random pint and will making this our regular... Sally is lovely. Had a pool table and beer garden too. Reasonably price drinks and children are welcome until nine.

    Great atmosphere when they have beer but it's getting a regular thing when they don't have beer on a Friday night. Disgraceful way to run a pub.

    The Lord Nelson feels more like a location of historical interest than just a pub! Tucked away somewhere in Sneinton, I wondered why I never found a reason to walk into this place in the last 12 months of living in Sneinton. I made that move, and I'm glad I did. The interior exudes an aura of a small-town country heritage with beautiful items that look like relics adorning the corners of the main room. The lady who attended to us wasn't hostile but she wasn't ready to absorb a joke either. Lol. It was straight face/jacket business afterall! The rear garden was simply beautiful and I loved the greenery and the furnitures. I think they were unique. I would go back soon, cos I think it would be a sweet place to sit and watch twilight fall.
