   Had a fantastic half chicken Sunday roast that was well cooked, tasty and reasonably priced. Manager is very easy to talk to and is passionate about the pub becoming an asset to West bridgford with great food, music and entertainment. Plenty of areas to sit away from big screen TV when sport is shown.

   Absolutely fantastic! The staff there were a friendly bunch and very accommodating to us. Good pours from behind the bar as well from a healthy looking bar tender called Lewis. Food is also great and everything looks clean. Will bring the family here again.

   Poor Food & Unwelcoming Staff. Ordered fish & chips, fish was over cooked & the chips were a kind of standard frozen version. The Bow Buns were dense, dry overcooked skewers & bland crispy squid. We were asked to move half way through our meal from a non reserved table the staff felt no need to intervene so because we have newly moved to the area we only moved to keep the peace. The old women member of staff with glasses had awful customer service & seemed to be bitter towards us for some reason. I had high hopes coming here but I have to say I am very disappointed. Even another customer was embarrassed & approached us to apologise for the awful experience. Unfortunately I would not be returning & I will not recommend the Test Match to anyone.

   Came in to take my younger brother for his first pint on his 18th birthday. Staff were great with him showing his ID, and Amy even brought over some French fancies with candles in unprompted when the staff overheard it was his birthday. Great service and great pub.

   Great service at the pub, outstanding staff, clean tables and great atmosphere. Also is located in a calm place so even for a night out and perhaps wanna stay in the hotel you can have a proper rest. Totally recommended

   Lovely old pub in the suburb of West Bridgford, Notts. Fantastic decor & good service but wasn't there when the cricket was on! Probably would have been a different review. Well worth a visit post season.

   Fantastic food and service. Very good value for money however it was far too hot within the pub itself and couldn't sit outside due to rainy weather. Would recommend though. A lovely place
