A Hidden Gem Discovered – We’ll Be Back! We’ve lived in Nottingham for 24 years and can’t believe it’s taken us this long to find The Dog House in Kimberley – but wow, what a find! From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel completely at home. The staff were exceptionally friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and even our dog Margaret was treated like royalty with her very own bowl of chicken and veg! We both had the roast beef, which was absolutely top-notch. It came with a massive Yorkshire pudding and all the proper trimmings – crispy roast potatoes, fluffy mash, stuffing balls, a pig in blanket, perfectly roasted carrots and parsnips, and the most indulgent cauliflower cheese. It all came with a generous jug of rich, delicious gravy that brought everything together beautifully. It’s rare to find somewhere that gets both the food and the vibe just right – but The Dog House nailed it. Friendly, hearty, and full of charm. We’ll definitely be back (and so will Margaret!).

(charlotte) our waitress was so attentive to all our needs, and checked back on us regularly, what was a great touch, she's a great asset to the company. we will definitely be back and sorry for our outrageous laughing, but we had such a great time. Decided to book Sunday lunch having heard so many good things through word of mouth. I have to say the roast was superb, served piping hot with all the trimmings and veg cooked perfectly. The pub has a lovely cosy atmosphere with very stylish interior design and the staff were very friendly, polite and efficient. All credit to the owners for creating this gem of a pub in the heart of Kimberley. 10/10

Very smart pub that has really improved the appearance of Kimberley Centre. Also serving great coffee at reasonable price. Join their coffee club, and your first coffee is free with a tasty piece of cake. NOTE, the menu has changed since I said the following .... Tried the Sunday Lunch Cob, plenty of meat and it is delicious. The roast potatoes were the best we've ever had in a pub. Eaten here several times now, all good but prefer our scampi on a plate not in a basket.
