   Went for the fortnightly breakfast. It was fantastic good quality food very well cooked. It's a shame it's only once a fortnight. The pub is a lovely village pub

   Been coming here for years, seen owner after owner. Haven’t been for a while but glad we came to try the food on Friday night, it was really nice and service was great. The pub was busy which was pleasant to see. The food at the Lambley the week before was dire compared to the food at the Robin, and at half the price too! We’ll be back to take advantage of the premium beer offer shortly :)

   Sunday roast is very good value at £11. However, I had two vegetables peas and cabbage. I felt cabbage was slightly over cooked. I would’ve been happy to pay more for a slightly better quality of food but overall ok. Surprising to see there was only one table occupied and only a few customers in the bar. Another couple came in as we were leaving. Other pubs nearby were busy.

   Such a lovely atmosphere when walking in. Felt calm,relaxing and made to feel very welcome by the staff and people in the pub. Service was amazing food was just as good and the portions wow definitely left feeling stuffed. Would recommend for drinks and food as been on many occasions now.

   What a good experience, on our saddest day! Had our Mums wake here yesterday and could not have wished for anything better. Excellent service, warm & friendly, splendid buffet catering for all tastes and good choice of drinks! Thank you so much!

   Unfortunately we echo the sentiments of the most recent review. We came here for Sunday lunch based on the reviews and Sunday lunch pictures. The pub itself is lovely, however the Sunday lunch was very poor. One tiny stuffing ball, a tiny Yorkshire pudding and what looked like frozen packet vegetables. The dessert wasn't much better. We ordered apple pie with whipped cream and it came covered in squirty cream. Lovely place and nice people, but very poor food.

   Went here for sunday lunch. We thought we would come as we knew it had been taken over and were now doing food. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We had the beef and every thing tasted home cooked, even the mash potato tasted as if it was proper mash. The place has even had a lick of paint brightens it up no end. Looking forward to many more visits.
