Improved since opening. The uninterested teenage bar staff have been elbowed out and the owner has taken charge. Very friendly, helpful and cosy. Good choice of beers and gins and now does Belgian beers.

Love it here, and so does the dog. Beer is always top quality - perfectly kept and perfectly served.
Great little place. We actually went here for the first time as we won a voucher giveaway on Instagram and we’ve been back a few times since. Good selection of beers and ciders and all reasonably priced. We took our dog the first time and the staff were really friendly towards her and even gave us some biscuits to keep her happy throughout the night. There was also some live music which we weren’t expecting but was really good. They also do a quiz on a Thursday which is free to join and the questions are very varied which is nice. Everyone there is really friendly and it almost feels like a little community in itself. Would definitely recommend.
