Took my parents out for a meal, this place was perfect. Great food, great service and beer on tap. What made it a lot better too was the fact they had Forest on the big screen which was great to watch them lose, again. Relegation this season for the red scum, hopefully.

Went to the Tappers on Wednesday night as the Mrs couldn't be bothered to cook. Had the Curry night offer of a curry & pint for £11.75 which was absolutely exceptional value. Our table was looked after by Brandon who was a cracking lad. He was polite, enthusiastic & professional. A real asset to the team there. Jamie who was behind the bar was excellent as well.

Came in to the pub for the first time for a bite to eat and a drink, the bar staff, Grace, was extremely helpful she helped me to decide what food I would like to eat and what was best to drink. She listed off the entire drinks menu, she knew it like the back of her hand which was extremely helpful. The food was absolutely lovely, compliments to the chef/s I can tell they take great pride in their cooking. I will definitely be coming back here again!

I am at this pub now with a friend and it’s absolutely disgustingly dirty Our shoes are sticking to the floor The tables are tacky and our elbows are sticking to the tables The windowsills are disgusting And outside the bins are full and there’s rubbish everywhere all over the garden And cigarette but ends everywhere If they haven’t got a cleaner, they need to get one If they’ve got a cleaner, they need sucking Come on, guys, pull yourself together I’m usually a regular here, but I won’t be coming back again I was going to order food, but I’m thinking if it’s publicly this disgusting what is it like in the kitchen? In reply to your response The floor isn’t tacky because of moisture it is downright sticky and I’m sure the tables aren’t full of moisture either so don’t give me that excuse You have several comments on the stickiness and the mess glasses all over the tables all bins full to the top I am a cleaner so get your cleaner to message me for some cleaning tips on how to remove tacky, sticky sugary layers of floors and tables The tables that bad you could actually see engraved finger marks amongst tackiness I will not waste my fuel money on coming to see your manager when you make excuses like moisture I’ve never heard such stupidity. I’ve never thought inside your promises again. I will tell everybody I know how bad it is.

A Hidden Gem with Big Vibes – The Best Live Music Nights Around! If you're looking for a place that delivers atmosphere, amazing live music, and unbeatable offers, look no further than. This place absolutely comes alive on band nights – packed to the rafters with energy, laughter, and the sound of incredible local talent. Every live music night feels like a mini festival. From indie rock to blues and everything in between, the lineup is always fresh and exciting. The crowd? Electric. Friendly faces everywhere, all there for a good time and great tunes. The staff are fast, friendly, and somehow keep their cool even when the place is buzzing. The whole setup – the lights, the sound system, even the way they clear space for dancing – proves this isn’t just a pub, it’s a proper night out.

Excellent service and delicious food! Manager and bar staff went out of their way to sort us a table even though they were fully booked! 10/10 will definitely eat here again.

I went into Tappers with my son and my mother yesterday for food and to watch the England game. The food was delicious and I was impressed with the prices. They have a children's menu with many options and you can choose your own main and side, my son has a milk allergy and the menu had Vegetarian and Vegan alternatives. My food arrived hot and the staff was helpful and friendly. They have a LARGE screen to watch the football, they also have many tvs around the pub so you can easily watch the game. I would recommended this pub for food and to watch live sport.
