Popped in for lunch having read an online news website. Interesting menu, not classic chain pub "ding" food which is good. The size of the Picky Bits portions is amazing, the Beetroot Falafel are excellent. The Curried Lamb Burger is equally good. Wine is sensibly priced though choice a bit limited. Will definitely be back.

Met up with some friends for food and drinks. The weather was good so we were able to eat in the beer garden. The food and drink was great. It did take a bit of time for the food to arrive but we told this was due to a new chef and it was really worth the wait as the pie I had was delicious and tasty. It is a great village pub serving home made food and the large beer garden is great on a rare sunny day. Would definitely return.

Each meal was £15 and wow the taste was amazing, great customer service. A lovey warm welcoming pub and a very friendly landlord.

First time in many years. Not changed any. Friendly service. Good range of beers at decent prices. Would have preferred no music but was not too intrusive

Nice lunch here today. Good selection of local beers. Food arrived promptly. Generous portions for both fish and chips and also chicken tagliatelle. Enjoyed some classic rock through the music system.

Very disappointing it had a very good reputation for dining in the past but we found it not anywhere near what all four of us expected. Table service was very slow,30 minutes for the starters, 35 minutes for the main course served up on cold plates so food cold before we finished eating a further wait for sweets .when asked why the poor service, reply was back log in the kitchen. Only four tables had dinners. The staff could not cope. We prebooked and selected food off the Christmas menus a week earlier so the so called chef had no excuse for poor service.

Perfect little gem in Bramcote village. Sunday lunch was delicious and plentiful for a great price.

Visited this place whilst in the area and did not know what to expect. On entering the pub, it displayed the Cask Marque which for me tells me this place knows how to keep it's beer. An excellent choice of 4 ales were on offer. 2 of which were local. A large menu of home cooked food was available with a number of specials. The food came in large portions so you definitely won't leave this place hungry yet the quality was high. A children's menu was also available which included an ice cream. Home made chips are worth a mention. All more than fairly priced. The interior was classic pub and this was complimented by a large beer garden with roaming chickens. Plenty of parking available too. The staff were very friendly, making us feel welcome which added to an overall great Saturday lunch.
