If you want a place with superb deals, great service and excellent pricing. O’Neill’s is THE place to go. Mark is one of the gentleman who served us. His cousin must be the milk man because he delivered on all areas of customer satisfaction. Can’t wait to come back again ASAP!
We came to O’Niels on a Monday night after my mates graduation. Although the pub was quiet there was a good atmosphere. Daniel served us and was very polite and nothing was too much effort for him. I would visit again
Terrible - not worth it Irish Wetherspoons? No one greets you at door it’s not good especially if it’s somewhere they’ve not been before. The staff were difficult to find and weren’t very interested anyway. Ordered through QR Code The tables were sticky, and the menus were dirty and stained, which wasn’t a great first impression. The double mushroom vegan pizza was honestly the saddest I’ve ever had - there was no tomato base, just a sprinkle of vegan cheese with slices of pepper and mushrooms. It felt incredibly lazy and wasn’t worth the money. I couldn’t even finish it. I was so disgusted with my self I spent money on something like this. The chicken and chips were smothered in BBQ sauce to the point that the crispy coating turned soggy and slimy, all stuck together in one lump. The side of Mac and cheese tasted like plastic and solidified sick. I had to ask my partner to eat quickly so we could leave. Overall, this meal was a disappointment and felt like a complete waste of money. Won’t be coming back and telling others to avoid.
1.4/10 It was alright... but honestly, just very meh. The dough was flat, the sauce tasted like straight-up tomato purée like someone grabbed a tortilla, slapped on some paste, and called it a pizza. The garlic oil on the crust was a nice touch, but it kind of felt like throwing glitter on a Poundland gift trying to dress it up as more than it is. Disappointing. Just meh.
What a great experience had here!! I visited Monday afternoon and was hosted by Amber - she was a great assist to the team ensuring me and my friend has a great time! We visited to take advantage of the Lunch for £6.50 and WOW!! great value for money - Only critique is have a spirit upgrade option as not everyone likes beer! Other than that amazing, amber made us aware of a new menu coming next week so I can’t wait to try
No complaints at all! The service was amazing to say how rammed the place was, our server Jess made sure we were looked after. The food came out at a reasonable time and was excellent. We’ll definitely come back the next time that we’re in Notts.
Amazing experience when visiting this pub! Visited around a week ago and OH MY! The staff were so welcoming and served us right away. We ordered a burger and 2 wraps and they came out amazingly fast. 5 stars from me!
The service was pretty quick, but it was very robotic, "yes please" and "thanks" is about the only interaction I had with the barman. When I was a barmaid, I made sure my customers felt special, but that seems to have died a death in most pubs/bars today. The table my friends and I sat at needed to be cleaned, also there looked liked mayonnaise or some sort of grease on the bench.
A really nice place to visit, good selection of food & drink at great value for lunchtime in the city. What let the visit down for me was the wait for food, no at the bar said anything and about 30 minutes for it to arrive. It was very tasty and filling.
