Excellent small pub - 4 or 5 cask ales plus interesting range of keg ales and ciders. Peaceful ambiance (no annoying background music - can actually have a proper conversation without having to shout), friendly staff, hard to fault!
Visited for my birthday, despite only being a small place they were able to accommodate a group of 8 of us. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and board games made it a great place to spend an afternoon. Even if the beers aren’t your thing, they have a great range of soft and hot drinks. Highly recommend!
Terrific selection of craft brews in a charming setting. Comfortable and cosy. We were just in Nottingham for a night and en route to see a band, so our stop was too short. We will definitely return on our next visit. I had the Gelato and it was deceptively smooth and far too yummy. It's a place I could definitely spend a few hours to chill.
We paaed this hidden-away gem on our route to a restaurant & returned for a beer. Totally lovely, with a fine choice of both proper beers & the trendy Kraft stuff. Quiz night while we were there; I wish we had eaten earlier & spent more time in the Barrel Drop!
Lovely little craft beer place tucked away in the city centre. Well worth seeking out. Great choice of cask and keg beers from local and top brewers.
Great little micropub with a lot to offer, the staff were really nice, only tried the one ale but it was perfect, decor was spot-on, roomy enough for our stag party rendezvous.

Hidden away, we found this place by accident. Great find, it's a very quaint pub with a great range of beers and ciders!
Was told to come here by another bartender in another pub. Seems to be a place to get away from tourist trap establishments. It is away from a tourist road. There seems is a great atmosphere to this place. Aimee the the owner and the bartender knows her craft beers and ciders. Small place and very quaint. Great place to sit down and enjoy a pint with friends, family, or by yourself!
