   Just had the best Sunday roast ever and have tried many others in the area which were more expensive but not as good. Beautifuly cooked roast beef and very generous portions, veg plentiful and gorgeous yorkies, this meal tasted home cooked. Sticky toffee pudding was light and delicious, will be back!

   Happened across Gleaners and wanted something to eat and drink. Food was freshly cooked and reasonably priced. Only took 20 minutes to get to our table. Fish and chips was superb, lasagne was to die for and Hunters chicken was also amazing. Definitely worth a visit! Friendly staff and car park was huge.

   Lovely home cooked lunch - ordered scampi but the fresh fish delivery had not arrived so the chef made me home cooked fish goujons which were absolutely delicious and bang bang chicken skewers off the specials board - made to feel very welcome and will be returning - thank you ladies

   This pub has had a good clear out and has some good real ales on sale. Food looks good and I intend to give it a go. Downside is the seating at the bar so you have to shout your order.

   This place is amazing. Everyone welcomes you in. Everyone talks to everyone. The food is to die for and decently priced. The chef really wants to please you with home made food with a menu that you don't know what to have because it all sounds nice. Two diverse outdoor spaces, one like a large gazebo in the shade and the other out the front in the sun, to suit various tastes and weather conditions. This is one of the best bar/gastro pubs about. I'll return with Erin the Hedgehog. Thank you for your hospitality. Animal friendly. X

   Very friendly pub and I mean both the staff and the regulars, We've been in a few times now for sunday lunch and never had a bad meal, All cooked fresh to order nothing is too much trouble. So 10/10 for food and atmosphere!

   The beer wasnt great, the pub was took over by kids,the table was filthy and the atmosphere wasnt very pleasent as the pub was full of regulars and they took priority of being served at the bar.

   Popped in ad hoc whilst in the area for a Sunday lunch, we hadn't booked but was made very welcome by the landlady in this local village pub, the atmosphere was extremely relaxed and the food was excellent, will most certainly be visiting again.
