Fantastic tiny little pub,great, friendly owner,wine,beers and cider selection great, poured straight out of the barrel and a decent price

Barman/landlord wasn't very welcoming. Made a snidy comment when I asked for a sample of beer. We felt like we shouldn't have been there.

Nice little pub, friendly staff and patrons, had a couple of nice ciders, haymaker and something else, they also had Lillies cider.
First time at The Flag. Great atmosphere Burt couldn't be more helpful and has charming wit! The locals accepted us in. As for the drinks ...if you like your ales or local lager or wine ...this is the micro pub for you.
Very small intimate pub, serving real ales from the local area. The choice is good and the owner knows the beers and able to assist you on choosing a beer that suits your palette. Lots of local characters show up at the bar, and the bar opens at the end of the working day.
The flag offers a changing selection of around 10 real ales, shouts and porters. Being a micro pub its not the biggest of places but the clientelle are always friendly and talkative as are the staff and landlord. If you havn't visited yet, I'd urge you to, you'll enjoy a nice pint in a friendly pub.
Amazing cozy micro pub wirth craft beers exceptionally friendly owners. Great location with street parking. A great way to kill an hour or two without your ears being bashed with Muzak. (Piped music).
