The couple who run this place could not do enough for me as a single man traveling on a bicycle. A place to store the bike and even run me to the next village to grab supplies for the next day as I arrived after local shop had closed. Say here, they are lovely ❤️
What a find! I booked to be near to David Austin Roses, just 15 minutes away. Jackie and Rob are great, very welcoming and engaging, a fantastic team, informative and helpful. The room was lovely overlooking a beautiful garden. The wine and cake were a welcoming touch, and appeared both days. Plenty of choice with tea and coffee. I had smoked salmon for breakfast both days, fruit salad and croissants with home made jam, all beautifully presented and plentiful. A really pretty and peaceful location. I felt completely relaxed and nourished on leaving, I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you so much Jackie and Rob x
Quiet village location. Roughly a mile walk along a bridle way to local pub for dinner. Hosts Jackie and Rob are lovely. The room was small (it IS a cottage) but thoughtfully prepared and very comfortable. The full English breakage is well worth buying. The local beacon and sausage are superb and the eggs perfectly cooked.
Fantastic hospitality, the room was spacious and had everything you'd need. The host was very friendly and welcoming and cooked a delicious locally sourced breakfast, very early morning, the next day. Thanks for having us!
We stayed at the cottage on 03/12/2022 and had amazing experience . We booked both rooms in the B&B. Both rooms were beautifully presented and super clean. Complementary wine and Homemade cake on arrival was such a really lovely touch. Lots of tea/ coffee/ milk and biscuit facilities. Breakfast was amazing quality, cereals/ fruit/ Yogurts to start. Then onto a full English with Toast- all with fresh ingredients. Eggs were cooked the way you request them (scramble/ poached or fried) . Lastly onto croissant with homemade jams and marmalades. Safe to say I left happy and full. Thanks again Rob and Jackie you were great hosts and I look forward to booking my next stay at White cottage B&B.
This B&B was outstanding. The couple who run it are professional friendly & very generous. I had a lovely clean toom a peaceful night & they even dropped me to my benue in the morning which would have cost me £12 in a taxi. 10/10
Very welcoming and friendly establishment. The bedroom and on-sweet shower room were clean and nicely furnished. The complimentary wine and cake were a very nice touch; plenty of milk and hot drinks available to last the duration of the stay. Breakfast was of good quality and cooked nicely. Good local recommendations given for places to go for dinner. 15 minute drive to David Austin nursery. Would stay again if I am that way.
Started with a great welcome from Jackie and Rob. Nothing too much trouble. Fantastic clean room and really comfy bed. Lots of thoughtful touches like homemade cake waiting for us. Many other complementary items such biscuits, and wine I wouldn’t normally expect from a b & b. Delicious breakfast served with local meat. All in all great value for money and I would highly recommend.
A great little B&B that was handy for my trip down to the Severn Valley Railway. It’s the best I’ve stayed at for a long time. I was welcomed by the lovely owners before I’d even got to the door. The room was lovely, clean & fresh. The complimentary glass of wine was very much welcomed after a long day along the line with the camera. With it near time to get my head down I had a delicious homemade scone & a hot chocolate. I slept like a log in the comfortable bed, had a quick shower in the perfectly clean bathroom then it was downstairs for breakfast. You can pick what time you’d like breakfast to be served and pick what items you’d like. The breakfast was fantastic, a fresh fruit salad with some yoghurt & a glass of orange juice, a rack of toast with homemade jams, full English breakfast that was spot on, all proper butchers stuff. Finished off with a cup of tea and a couple of croissants. I was tempted to go back and lay on the bed for half hour I was that full, I didn’t have to eat again for 10 hours. An absolute delight of a stay, I’ll certainly be back.
