My sister and I enjoyed a lovely meal with you at the hundred house. The staff were professional and were really lovely despite it being so busy and they were so attentive. I have the salmon starter as a main and my sister Gill had the Christmas dinner and my sister had the cheesecake and I had Christmas pork with brandy sauce all completely lush! We can’t wait to come back again with our family and friends and will certainly be recommending you to everybody we see. Kind regards

30 if us were there for my daughter’s engagement celebration… food was really good! We al enjoyed our meal. But i have to give the biggest shoutout to zak!!!! He looked after us all evening and what a job he did! He didnt stop the whole evening making sure we all had drinks , ensuring everyone was happy and even offering to go out to get my daughter and partner to walk them in from the car ! His customer service is outstanding, the best ive experienced for a long time and everyone in the party commented the same. He did it all with a smile on his face. Only negative i have to say about venue is PLEASE spend some money on your toilets.. far too old fashioned. Nearly did 4 stars for this reason but food and zak got 5!!!

Went for dinner in the restaurant last night. Everything - food, ambiance and service excellent as always. Just one small but important point to note - the "stem ginger and dark chocolate" cheesecake did not tast of stem ginger at all and the "stem ginger" ice cream was non-existent it was served with squirty cream. Very disappointing for me personally.

I recently visited for Sunday lunch. The food itself was pleasant and of good quality, although the portion size of the vegetable sides was somewhat small for two people. I had both a starter and a main course and would consider returning based on the food alone. However, there were several issues that significantly detracted from the overall experience. Firstly, the cleanliness of the table was unacceptable. There were visible bits of food and debris lodged in all the grooves of the table, clearly indicating that it had not been properly cleaned before our arrival at 12:30 p.m. This was not just one or two stray crumbs. it was consistent across the entire surface. Something that could be easily hoovered before wiping before opening. While the waiting staff were polite and friendly, the timing of service left something to be desired. As I lifted my first forkful of food of my main course, a waitress interrupted to ask how our meals were, which was poorly timed and disrupted the experience. The venue itself is lovely and has a good atmosphere, but these seemingly small yet important details, cleanliness, and timing really let the place down. With more attention to detail, it could easily offer a much higher standard of dining experience.

Thourt we would pop in when driving past and how pleased we did. This has to be one of the best venues. It has an 1800s barn outside and a wedding venue. The actual building we went into for food. Was also an old building with plenty of character. Food was top quality. Beer was reasonably priced. Gin was very expensive £70 for tea meals with drinks, which I think overall was very reasonable. And cooked and presented very well.. There are also gardens to walk around. We didn't do this but plan on doing so on our next visit. If you have not been and are thinking of going, you will not be disappointed

We visited The Hundred House for a family birthday party. Driven past before but never stopped which is a shame. What an interesting place. The birthday went really well helped by friendly and efficient but unobtrusive service. My Gluten intolerance was catered for professionally and, all in all, a great time was had. Food was spot on. We will be back soon for a smaller gathering.

Food was absolutely fantastic and the staff were very friendly. Couldn’t fault anything about our meal or experience in the restaurant. I can’t believe I’ve lived near it for 32 years and only just eaten there. It’s firmly on my favourites and go to list for meals out. The price I think was fair for the quality of the food, service and fantastic building it is in. £100 for 6 courses (3 courses each) (which included a beef fillet which are normally on the pricey side in restaurants) + drinks I think was very reasonable

We had the most amazing day at The Hundred House Hotel for our wedding! It was more perfect than we could have imagined. So many of our guests came up to say how beautiful the venue was, how much they loved the gardens, the food being amazing and served swiftly, the staff serving for the meals and the evening reception were so attentive, and how well planned and organised the team were with making the day flow and stress free. We just couldn't keep up with all the compliments the guests were giving us about this wonderful wonderful venue! Issy was absolutely fantastic and really kept me at ease whilst I was waiting for the ceremony, consistently keeping me informed and we both just couldn't be prouder to be part of the Hundred House family! The rooms, well what can I say! The swings were definitely a hit with the guests as we found out over breakfast and they all had a great night sleep. Each room had different styles and decor which our guests who stayed all commented on their room being like no other and they enjoyed it so much! Then the breakfast the following morning was so quick to be served and nothing was any trouble for the staff. The quality was great and well all I can say about this amazing venue is that we have fallen in love with the place, the staff, everything!

We had the most amazing day with you guys for our wedding day! It was so magical from start to finish! Everyone has commented on how well the day flowed and how great the food was too! Everyone wishes we could do it all again! I felt so looked after all day by members of the team and felt informed on everything too! Literally couldn't have asked for any more or changed anything on the day. From meeting Jo for a walk around to the final meeting they made sure everything was in place for us! Gem was fantastic too. Couldn’t have asked for more.
