Smashing bar located in the trendy Cathedral Quarter of Belfast serving great stout beers including Guinness, Murphy’s and Beamish. To see the decor alone is worth the visit. Live music every night. Best pint of Beamish I’ve ever tasted outside of Cork.

This place is full of great lively pub atmosphere. You are lucky to find a seat as the night goes on and the live music starts. Didn’t get food but had a pint and listened to the music. Had fun just looking at the walls here!

Finally, after many trips to Belfast, we made it to the Duke of York. The interior and exterior decor and vintage collectibles are worth the visit alone. It was quiet when we were there mid afternoon on a week day but we know it is usually crazy busy. We each had a Guinness (as part of a mini pub crawl). Well poured, creamy, perfect temperature. We’ve had one or two better elsewhere in the city but they were better marginally. These are great pints. Friendly staff. Would recommend and will go again.

Amazing pub with such incredible decorations, a vibrant atmosphere and lovely and very efficient staff! Lovely outdoor area with lots of benches which you can bring drinks out to and enjoy all the street art and decoration! Definitely my favourite pub I’ve been to on my visit here, would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Belfast!

Two stops during our recent stay in Belfast. Luckily we were able to sit outside and then at an inside table. Busy and crowded but the service staff never seemed harried and were friendly and helpful. Tourists and locals all seemed to be having a great time.

Quirky little place for a drink, tucked away in the Cathedral Quarter this pub was busy but after waiting a couple of minutes we got a seat. A couple of violins playing added to the atmosphere. The memorabilia all over the walls in the bar meant for interesting reading. Recommend you pop in for one

You'd think locals would be sick of tourists. Not here. We got a very warm welcome at the bar and among the clients. Super well kept Guinness and a great range of whiskeys. We popped in for a quick lunchtime beer and sloped out 3 hours later. There was so much to bloody look at, listen to, marvel at and such a warm and cosy atmosphere we couldn't summon the self discipline to leave. Gorgeous.

Definitely the place to be any night on the weekend. Staff are very friendly, and efficient. I was made to feel so welcome by many patrons, as though I was part of the clique. Fantastic atmosphere and great music.Motorised awning operated for customers sitting outside should it rain. Wall heaters for those chilly evenings too. Traditional pub interior, very unique decor. Loved the place and certainly will return often in the future.
