2 day visit for family catch up. Booked for breakfast and dinner. The rooms were well presented and spacious. The bathroom clean with toiletries available, bath with overhead shower but no gran rails or support for access to shower and bath slippy. That is not a complaint just information.

BED BUGS - I’m warning everyone not to stay here! I awoke at 2 am to be covered in bed bugs crawling on the sheets and over my suitcase which I had to throw away Environmental health are now looking into the place! Please don’t waste your money The room had no blinds and the sofa in the kitchen area was broken Please read all the reviews !! The place promised me a refund many times and I’ve still not had it so has to do a charge back on credit card They also have the cheek to charge a £50 cash damage deposit even though the rooms are disgusting with no blinds and broken furniture

Warning to people who want to book at this hotel my friend made a booking. He was outside waiting for the key as it was late evening the manager or staff worker didn’t arrive to give him the key to access his room. My friend kept on contacting them to no revile and then eventually the manager had blocked him from all correspondence and he cancelled the booking. Without giving my friend the refund so in my opinion that is theft and also scammed him.

You get what you pay for and this was only £60 a night for an apartment. Once you get past the front door that looks like the door to a boarded up building, pay the cash deposit (which we did get back) and the filthy state of the stairs carpet, the actual apartment is quite good albeit lacking some DIY skills by the owner (I had to fix the bedroom blinds myself as the missing parts were stuffed in a drawer). Single glazed windows mean you hear all the noise from the bus and tram station outside and the night club next door starts at 11pm until the early hours, so definitely no good for light sleepers. Other than that, close to town, clean and tidy.

Personally would feel ashamed to rent a property in this state. The room was dirty with damages all over the property. They ask for a £50 cash deposit which seems very odd, when asked to pay by card we were told it was not possible. It wasn’t clean at all, with nut wrapper in the cupboard, half used shampoo bottle and an empty bottle of soap left by the sink. If we didn’t arrive so late we would definitely book a different place to stay. The area around the property is full of homeless and druggies. Don’t fall for the cheap price.

I posted a review about the truth about the awful mess I faced with the apartment on booking .com where I book this apartment to stay. Since posting the review I've had a message back from staff stating I asked for a refund and it was refused not only are the apartments there rent out awful and dirty their are liars as well. Because I never once asked them for any sort of refund . All I got was excuses from them

Please keep clear of this dump, myself and partner stayed here paid £135.00. The apartment was awful, starting with toilet seat not fitted and the wrong one for the toilet the shower had no hot water and the guy in shop blames it on water being left on lol The sofa wasn't suitable to sit down on with dirty stain marks all over it the kitchen cupboards fell off when opened them the tap in kitchen also fell off. Holes in the wall and door to bedroom people just walking in and sitting on the stairway because the door downstairs you only need push to open. This places wasn't worth the money and the staff made excuses for the mess of the apartments. I definitely won't be using this place to stay again in fact a park bench would have been cleaner.

For starters for being on bottom floor and people being eye level with you sleeping half a blind set doesn't exactly hide you or block out unwanted gazes. Secondly everywhere beyond the average lookers gaze was covered in thick dust. Third the level of hygiene is simply appalling. All cutlery, plates, dishes etc. had food stains, watermarks or overall dirty. Cupboards were dirty, dusty and overall neglected. The sofa had holes in, the television in the room didn't work. And for £59 I would expect far better facilities. I know and understand stuff happens to rooms like the sofa from neglectful past stayers. But the blinds, the rusty and dirty microwave and toaster. The clock that didn't work. Everything advertised as an asset for this hotel room was sufficiently hyperbolic. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.
