This place was good, a few drink specials and some good condition arcade games. We were there early in the evening so it was nice and quiet.
My first time here and won't be back. Staff were rude, more towards the end (must not like working sundays) and just purely provocative. There was no need for staff behaviour and it seems they need a class in customer service. I'm genuinely shocked and appalled at how we were treated. I'm not one to complain, coming from a retail background, but honestly horrible and would never treat my own customers the same.
We’ve hosted three DJ parties at The Botanic Inn, and every time the experience has been fantastic! The atmosphere is brilliant, and the staff are always friendly and professional. Huge thanks to Darryn — he was incredibly helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend this place for great nights and events!
We had a brilliant evening here a few weeks back visiting from sligo. The bar has such a cosy, welcoming atmosphere — the front bar with the fire lit was the perfect spot to sit and relax. Special mention to Sarah behind the bar, who made our visit even better. Despite it being really busy, she was so attentive, friendly, and nothing was ever too much trouble. She took the time to chat with us and made sure we were comfortable the whole evening. She truly is a credit to the place. Great service, great atmosphere — we’ll definitely be back!

Lovely bar. Great staff. Epic for sports. If you want a traditional pub with a friendly atmosphere look no further.
Nice atmosphere. Lots of options of beers with OK price. Good for watching sporting events. Some poor quality pool tables and cues tho. Overall good experience
Used to drink here a long time ago. Popped in for nostalgia's sake and to warm up by the fire. The recommended Belfast Endeavour was a great pint. Warm, friendly bar staff. A good experience, pit stop.
This has never been a nice bar by any means but the way they have it now seems to be designed for the sole purpose of making it easy to clean up student vomit.
