We went to woodworkers on Friday 21st November which as advertised by Elusive Brewing, was supposed to be a collaboration night with multiple new beers and limited edition beers on tap. As advertised Woodworkers was meant to be a vendor for it. When we arrived we asked staff, they either said they’d never heard of it, and one member said ‘eh come back tomorrow’ after saying he never heard of it. There were other people asking later in the evening, and equally disappointed. As we had travelled in for the event, we did stay for food ordering pizza. 55minutes lapsed from ordering until the pizza arrived at our table. Also disappointing, the pizza was nice, although a very long wait for it. Staff did come and check had we received it around the 30 minute mark as we hadn’t. The selection of local beers is good, but the staff did not seem to know anything about local beers or events. I think this bar has the potential to be a good craft beer location but it just does not live up to its potential. We had a similar experience at another collaboration event night (again advertised on social media, but having to ask about it on the night) and staff appear clueless, with no idea what should be happening.

Very nice bar !! Absolutely loved trying the selection of craft beers and ipas on offer , we visited on a Wednesday night which was rather quiet which was fine , but so nice to see more of these bars focusing on craft beers as Ive gone off main stream beers and lagers, since experiencing the different and unique tastes IPAs and craft beers bring to the table!

Great beer, good music and food to die for. Our 2 dogs were welcome as well. What more could we ask for? Cheers from Germany :)

Absolutely loved The Woodworkers! The staff were so lovely and welcoming. The space itself was cosy and relaxed, with a great atmosphere and really convenient being so close to the bar. Can’t wait to come back!

The Woodworkers: Where Beer is Religion and Bartenders Are Saints. After a truly abysmal run-in with another pub-that-shall-not-be-named, we wandered into The Woodworkers hoping for a pint and a palate cleanse — and ended up having one of the best beer experiences of our lives. The place oozes cool without trying too hard: laid-back vibes, an excellent selection, and bartenders who actually like people (a shocking concept, apparently). We were curious about the beer tasting flight — and even though the official “beer experience” didn’t start until 16:00, we showed up fashionably early at 14:00 like eager beer nerds with no sense of time. Enter the bartender — That young woman is an absolute legend. Not only did she not roll her eyes or throw us out for daring to exist before beer o’clock, she straight-up went above and beyond. She served us a glorious tasting board with eight different beers, explaining each one with genuine enthusiasm and that effortless Belfast charm. She gave us more than we paid for, both in quality and kindness. By the end, we felt like we’d just taken a mini craft beer masterclass — and had a few good laughs along the way. This place gets it. Great beer, good people, zero attitude. Whether you’re a beer geek or just here for a good time, The Woodworkers delivers. And if you’re lucky enough to be served by that bartender — give her a raise and a medal. Or at least a thank-you pint. 10/10 would get accidentally tipsy here again.

It was a blustery day in Belfast and I was in need of some sustenance to warm me up. And where better to do that than at The Woodworkers? These chicken wings are the stuff of legends. Crispy, juicy, and slathered in that spicy buffalo sauce - I was in wing heaven. But it wasn't just the food that made this visit so memorable. The Woodworkers knows how to pour a proper pint of Guinness. And pouring four in a row is no problem for them either.. I got a bit too carried away with those pints. Before I knew it, I was saying a cheery goodbye to the team and I almost forgot to pay the bill. (I didn’t and they handled it very subtly) That aside, I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch at The Woodworkers and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for some top-notch pub grub and a pint or two."

We ate ourselves senseless here because there were so many cool vegetarian and pescatarian options and we had only one evening. Also drank well and cheaply. Lovely vibe. Enormous pub with different sections, different atmospheres, and it was so good to be in a mixed crowd of students, locals, youngsters and oldies. Friendly staff. Excellent range of craft beers, and whiskeys. We came for an hour, stayed 4.

Stopped in for a quick pint after spending the day exploring the city. Very diverse 14 taps of micro brew. Staff was very friendly. We sat on the rooftop which was a nice relaxing atmosphere.
