   A saviour from the rain! It's a quirky place. We sat at a table made of a keep left sign, with one of the stools made from painted used tyres. The whole café is in this style. We ordered a chocolate milkshake, a strawberry milkshake, a Nutella crêpe and a Knickerbocker glory.my son and mother-in-law enjoyed their milkshakes, my Knickerbocker glory was excellent, lashings of fresh fruit, three generous scoops of chocolate, strawberry and vanilla ice cream topped with squirty cream and strawberry sauce. The ice cream was a delight, being full of flavour. The crêpe was late arriving (we had to remind them) but it too was both considerable in size and quality, my wife was very pleased with it! I definitely recommend this cafe, I'd happily visit again

   We celebrated my daughter’s 3rd birthday party at the Junk Yard and could really recommend the hosted party. The stuff did really well in entertaining the kids with dancing, games and glitter tattoos during there parents had a coffee in the cafe. The highlight was definitely the mascot who joined the party two times. Thanks a lot for hosting us and my daughter’s guests.

   Wonderful little place with a friendly atmosphere and the friendly staff were very nice to my mother giving her a candle in her waffle and singing happy birthday to her. Known as a dessert cafe, but I had the soup and I must say, coming from Oxford where I have had lots of soups recently, this was the best. I think they should decorate the walls more to make the best of the space, but I shall visit again when I'm in the area.

   I went to junkyard cafe when it poured down with rain on Thursday 27 August, 2020, and had an espresso which tasted awful. After drinking it, the young woman asked me what it was like. The junkyard cafe is designed for kids , which is ashame, because you cannot rely on making money from kids( their parents paying of course). But they also cater for adults as well. But who wants to sit inside, come to that, outside with screaming kids? The colour of the doors are revolting, especially for a cafe. The imitation traffic lights and everything you would expect for a cafe not to have which is not in keeping with the rest of the businesses within the Anchor Centre. It is also ashame that it is only for kids. It is the first time I have ever known THE CAFE to be especially for kids. The Art cafe failed, and it will not be long before Junkyard cafe fails. It will not be a disaster if it did. 27/8/2020 On 27th September, 2021, I went back to junkyard cafe and had a latte. It looked as though it had been made with powered milk. It looked like a milkshake. I took a sip... It was revolting! The owners friends, as it seemed were in, and she asked them how was there coffee? Fine they said. The owner whistled loudly to the music. After I finished, I was charged £2.45 I said I won't be back. GOOD LUCK, SAID THE OWNER. I have never seen anything like it. A traffic light. Almost like a disco than a cafe. Not recommended.
