   If you’re searching for a great breakfast spot in Salcombe, look no further! I usually enjoy my meals at Capn Jaspers, but with it closed for refurbishment, I decided to try this place instead. The quality and portion sizes here far exceed those at Capn Jaspers, and the service was excellent. Having visited Salcombe since childhood, I’ve seen it change significantly over the years, but I still cherish those moments of sitting by the sea with a breakfast bap in hand. This place truly captures that nostalgic feeling! A perfect Saturday morning was had. Yes it's pricey but that's Salcombe so don't get food that's from some cash and carry. Inside is cosy. Great coffee. Cakes galore. Great staff. Owner knows what he is doing. Well worth a visit in my opinion. Ketchup isn't treated like gold.

   Really nice coffee house and great selection of food. Have the sausage sandwich with fried egg for about £6. It was really nice! Staff are really pleasant.and would definitely recommend!

   Warm welcome. Delicious cakes. Reasonable prices. Lots of vegan / gluten free options. They could make better use of local ingredients (why not Salcombe chocolate for example). We’d definitely visit again. But sadly they still have single use plastic cups for the iced coffee.

   Very friendly cafe run by a young, competent staff. The smashed avocado was very good indeed. Seated quickly, and served in a short space of time. All in all a great experience except for the overcooked poached eggs on toast. Otherwise well worth the visit.

   We had a lovely coffee here this morning. We were a party of 6 and there was plenty of seating available. The drinks came within good time and were very hot as requested. The cakes were absolutely delicious as well. Staff were all extremely friendly, a very lovely cafe in the heart of Salcombe.

   Stopped here for a coffee and was taken in by the look of the food so I indulged in cream tea and my wife had a fantastic sandwich. The food was amazing, the coffee awesome and the service was very welcoming. We will look to visit here again when we return to Salcombe. UPDATE Just been again September 2022 and the food is still just amazing. Great value food and wonderful coffee.

   Visited here on a trip to Salcombe, and went in for a Devon cream tea. We ordered four of these for our party, and we all were given two lovely currant scones, a pot of clotted cream, some tasty strawberry jam and an individual pot of tea. The scones we're fresh and warm, the jam was plentiful and had a good strawberry flavour, and the teapot yielded two nice big cups of tea. The menu also has a good variety of lunchtime options with tasty sandwiches and cheesy nachos.

   An absolutely lovely place. I visited once with my partner and once alone, both times I received wonderful service and was treated in a way that seemed genuinely nice, happy to have me there. I enjoyed all of the items I ordered, which included a sandwich, scones and hot drinks. We also took a slice of rocky road home. The sandwich were super fresh and loaded with filling, the scones were really tasty and warm. I loved the hot chocolate so much that I took a bag of the power home with me, though I doubt I’ll make it taste as good at home! The cafe was clean and well stocked, I will definitely be back anytime I find myself in the area! It’s rare to enjoy every part of a cafe / restaurant, but this one definitely hits the mark!
