Lovely for a walk around the lake, small playground and nice restaurant with fish and chips and coffee overlooking the lake. Need to have RingGo app to park
Good lake to walk or cycle around, several car parks around to park in, although two car parks that we visited both the payment meters were out of order so had to faff around and download the app, register card etc etc. surly during august they would of been up and working. Plus a little expensive to park too. One of the car parks has a café, good food and drinks but also little expensive.

Beautiful, largest lake in England, is anyone allowed to use it for paddleboarding or windsurfing or any kind of enjoyment? No, only the elite in the sailing club, who can use it to their hearts content. Can you join the sailing club? Of course not, you plebs.
Owned by Bristol Water this large lake cannot be walked around. Car park £2.20 coins only - Bristol Water doesn't seem to have realised we are now in 21st century! Lots of wildfowl which is the only reason for going there.
Nice walk around lake - BUT many individuals NOT observing social distancing spilling it for my small group who became paranoid about dodging the inconciderate individuals who powered through on the barrow paths forcing us into the bushes / nettles to avoid them! ☹️. Note parking at road side is very limited to arrive early to ensure you can get a spot.
