   Well hopefully this practice gets up and running soon and prioritise the appointments to those who've been with you the longest...I've been with you since I was 15 now nearly 68 ...with No NHS dental cover been forced to go private just to keep my mouth stable 2 and a half k my mouth is back to health but the high cost and me a state pensioner I feel neglected by the system that's supposed to protect my wellbeing.....although I've gone private for now I don't want to lose my place under the NHS that's what it's for after all...state pensioners aren't on the minimum wage..Gordon

   The reason people are continually having their appointments cancelled is because for the past 2 years they have had an acute shortage of dentists, but for 6 months at least, they have had no dentists at this practice at all. Even so they failed to inform patients of this. I have had more than 8 different dentists here, because they were continually leaving. If you had Miss Stevens assigned as your dentist you were lucky, as she was a constant, but even she left months ago. My last dentist here, did the fastest check-ups I've ever experienced and bodged fillings for 2 friends and fellow patients, one going back for a third time. The doors have been locked, phones unanswered, so closed. It now appears they are about to set up as a private dental practice. If you are a NHS patient you need to find another practice, if you haven't already. If you are considering going private, find another practice that doesn't treat their patients appallingly.

   This place used to good I have been going since they were on the Market Square in Mansfield and that is going back to the 1960's but it has gone down hill big time. It all seemed to start when Mr Shaw retired and he had been there since he qualified I believe I then got palmed off with Anita Thomas who has the most appalling unprofessional attitude towards her patients I'm surprised she hasn't been struck off the register and it's not just me folks I know has said exactly the same thing. Never mind though I'm with a new dentist now and it's a totally different kettle of fish.

   Let it be known that this review is actually 0 Stars. I’ve today found out that this practice has ZERO practicing dentists! They didn’t willingly tell me this as a NHS patient, I’ve had to call them myself at a time when I’m desperately in need of an appointment, baring in mind that it has been about a year since my last one. This practice needs to be shut down or totally re-structured. The lack of communication paired with the lack of compassion leaves this dentist (if you can even call it that) in a state of disrepair! Do yourself a favour and scour the whole of mainland Britain for a new dentist!

   I am very disappointed. I have been. patient for over 30 along with my family. I called a few months ago to be told my dentist had retired, and there are no other dentists, that they are waiting for the new ones to start and call 111. Roll on a few months later no dentist, no letters to be informed of anything., no answering the phone and the door is locked. The answer phone message says to call a dentist in Nottingham. This is very poor communication.

   I have been with this practice for many years and value the treatment I have received. Today I can really say that I have received first class treatment. Never very brave I was put at ease and reassured throughout. My teeth are the cleanest and most comfortable they have been for years. Thank you.

   Absolutely ridiculous I've been a patient at this dentist for over 40 yrs ,1st time I need an emergency appointment I carnt get one , they only have 3 slots a day which get filled . I rang 86 times between 8.58 and 9.16 to finally get through to be told ring tomorrow at 9 Ridiculous

   I was so upset by the way I was spoken to last visit and one before that wasn't that good either. I got up off the treatment chair and left. There was no way I wanted that dentist giving me treatment with her attitude. She obviously doesn't like her job much and I felt like a nuisance to her. Very poor.

   I had an emergency appointment here the other day and was upset by the way I was spoken too by the dentist and her dental nurse..I felt like something they had dragged in on their shoe!!! My husband had also had the Same experience from the same dentist weeks before..practically calling me a liar about previous treatment i had had at the same practice by a really lovely lady..constantly going on about registering with a private dentist ....she really didn't want to help me..couldn't wait to get rid if me n made my experience of her not nice at all

   Anita the dentist downstairs is fabulous. In all the years ive been visiting dentists she is most certainly the most thorough ive ever had. My teeth always feel great after a visit to her, I always feel they've been given the best care possible. I dont think there's any dentist out there that would be better.
