   We had such a brilliant experience at Santas grotto this weekend. It was truly magical. Santa was brilliant and all the elves just made it so special. Loved how Santa knew everything about the kids! My 7 year old was getting highly suspicious and you brought the magic back to him for sure. He's convinced he's met the real Santa! The bird show was wonderful too, the staff member seating everyone was so considerate of our disabled daughter. I'll be recommending wild to all our friends for next year. Brilliant value too. Thanks so much!

   A fantastic zoo. The keepers are so enthusiastic and clearly very passionate about their roles and more importantly the welfare of all the animals. I attended a photography event and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. The Wild Wings Flying Display is amazing to see. Around 60 birds of various types all released together makes a fantastic sight and sound. Well recommended !

   The most amazing place to get up and close to wonderful animals and understand how they support our world. Wild staff are so knowledgeable and give in depth knowledge of all the animals and birds. This place caters for everyone from young to old and everyone loved every minute of the visit. The main thing is also the support that this place has in terms of protecting the environment for the animals around the world and conservation.

   What a wonderful place this is. Recently took our 2 yr old grandson to the zoo tots 6 week course. This exceed our expectations and we had a wonderful time. Georgia and her team were so welcoming, informative, approachable and knowledgeable. Lots for thoughtful activities for the children to do and obviously seeing and meeting the various animals was wonderful. These people care about your experience there and the animals. Before i went to this I thought it was only a place to visit if you had small children, how wrong was I! The bird show there was simply stunning to see. Would definitely recommend a visit.

   What a fabulous zoo! Small but packs a good amount into a small space that is well laid out and dressed up so you feel like you're walking through a small jungle. With the Half Penny Green Restaurant, deli and shop and the Craft Village, there is plenty to have a look around and good options to have a sit down and refuel before heading back to the zoo for more of the talks and shows to make the most of the day. The star of the whole experience for me, has to be the shows and in particular, the bird show. I mean wow....just wow! The bird show alone makes the whole day worth it and is a must see experience. Incredibly well presented and informative with a grand finale that just left me speechless. Truly spectacular and the effort and expertise needed in putting it together must be phenomenal, but the results are such a special awe-inspiring spectacle. The staff really make this place special. Their knowledge, enthusiasm, friendliness, dedication and their desire to share that with the public through the various talks, shows and ad-hoc interactions around the zoo really makes this place special.

   Our favorite local place to visit. It's a small zoo with a huge heart. The exhibits are great and the animals are very well looked after, you can tell the staff genuinely care and love working there. The bird show is superb and an emotional experience, it makes me cry every time we go.

   Amazing place, perfectly sized so that you're able to see everything without feeling like you've missed something. The animals are evidently adored by staff, all of whom are engaged, pleasant and approachable. Halfpenny Green is a great location and the park is surrounded by independent businesses that are all worth visiting. All in all, highly recommended.

   Really enjoyed our visit. The place is really well designed/built and looks amazing! The wallaby walk through was great- the staff gave us some bamboo to feed them which we haven’t experienced before. The lorikeets shortly after were really interactive- we were given little pots of nectar and they landed on you to feed. There was a good selection of animals, and the staff were friendly (some were quite young and not so confident with the public, not an issue). Highlight of the day were the animal shows- especially the bird show. It was awesome to see some of the birds in flight, and the finale of 30+ birds all flying around set to music was amazing- something I’ve never experienced anywhere! Thought it was a little pricey before we went, but the animal shows were easily worth half the ticket price alone. One thing that would be great would a refreshment kiosk- it was quite a hot day and we would have gladly purchased drinks/snacks. Great place, will certainly revisit!

   Had trouble booking slot online after tickets purchased but called and lady I spoke to was very helpful. Great free flying bird show, awesome animals and mostly exceptional staff. Only negative interaction was one lady manning shop an hour or so before closing on her own who wasn't particularly pleasant or helpful but didn't spoil our day.

   What an absolutely amazing place! I have to say I was a bit apprehensive to start as it didn't look like it was going to be much from the entrance, but WOW what a gem is hiding behind those doors! We went in Feb half term and it was their first outdoor shows of the year, and they'd not had chance to rehearse because of the storms, but they didn't disappoint. The staff are so knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour when dealing with the animals, and I'd like to say special thanks to the young man who kindly got a snake out at the end of the day for my daughter to touch, as we'd missed it during the day. He then gave us a wonderful talk about the otters and re opened the lemur enclosure for us. They all care so much for the animals and the conservation of them. We will most definitely be going back to see the big bird flying display and taking other family with us. 100% recommend a visit.
