Popped into Eko Barber on a whim after never really finding a barber I trust before. After passing by a few times, the unique style of the shop drew me in. He put me at ease straight away and was very thorough and clearly knowledgeable, explaining some of his technique as he went. I left feeling great and like I'd been a part of a family event. Independent, unique, top service, top guy.
Hair, cut. Went in hungover and needing just a simple trim. Walked out with an experience of a lifetime, and despite the gimmicks felt satisfied overall. He's a good barber, and he enjoys his work. Offered me coffee at first which I politely refused, he must have sensed my hangover and offered a more gracious comfort from his cupboard. This business has a well deserved and earned reputation. I literally just wandered in, and ended up having the best day ever thanks to that haircut.
The owner here puts extra care and love into his work and all his clients come first. you'll feel welcomed here not awkwardly sitting and waiting for haircuts. This place more than just a barber shop, it's a home. :)
Eko's is the best barber in Nottingham. You walk in abit tired or down and you walk out feeling like a new person with a huge smile on your face. Head massage after is a must!! You will not be disappointed. Super sharp trim.
