used to really like this place but unfortunately all of my recent experiences just haven’t been good. Feel like the quality of work / the experience in there isn’t enjoyable anymore & I’ve been over charged a few times

TExtremely Disappointing Experience – Lack of Care and Quality I had a deeply disappointing experience with my nails today. I went in with a clear vision, even showing a picture of what I wanted, but what I received was nowhere near the expected result. During the process, I expressed my concerns and asked, “Is this the base colour?” I was reassured with a “don’t worry, it’s not finished yet,” so I decided to trust the process. However, when Tracey started applying the ombré, I remained quiet, not wanting to be told again that it wasn’t done yet. I assumed the shape and quality would improve as they continued – unfortunately, it didn’t. While I appreciated the way my nails were trimmed and shaped, the final result was absolutely awful. I kindly expressed my dissatisfaction and asked for a discount, explaining that I would need to get them redone elsewhere. They refused outright. I paid the full amount for nails I was extremely unhappy with, and it was clear they were more concerned with getting my money than ensuring I left satisfied. As a private hairstylist myself, I know how important it is to make sure clients are happy, and I would never let someone leave feeling this way. Surely, they knew the result wasn’t up to par. To make matters worse, I left the salon in tears as I was heading to a two-day wedding and had no time to get them fixed. I called back later to voice my frustration, but was only offered the option to come back to have them fixed – no refunds. Given their lack of care, I didn’t feel comfortable returning, so I ended up paying to have them fixed elsewhere. This experience was extremely upsetting and unprofessional. I’ve attached pictures as reference to show how poor the result was.

My mum and I tried Aquarius nails for the first time yesterday and we’re both really happy that we did. We went for a very simple gel and French polish which was very quick. We didn’t have to wait to be seated and the team kindly reshuffled the seats so we could sit together. My mum has sensitive nails and the lady was very gentle. The team here are really friendly so I would definitely recommend. The price is really reasonable and we will definitely be returning. Thank you!

I regularly visit this salon for my nails, as 9/10 times I really like them. However, if you are short for time and want an appointment. DONT BOTHER. Makes no difference if you make an appointment, you are still waiting the length of time from walk ins. There time management is appalling. And I’ve never seen them sterilise any equipment in the years I’ve been here, so if you’re prone to infections I also wouldn’t bother.

Very inconsiderate staff. Booked an appointment at 5:30 , confirmed it, and when I showed up the place they were very busy with walk in appointments. I asked about my appointment repeatedly while waiting 30 mins (they continued to take the walk ins in the order they came before us) and they said sorry it’s too busy so basically they didnt care about my appointment. This is very upsetting, had they said they don’t respect appointments on the phone I would have showed up early to wait rather than confirming another commitment at 6:30.

I'm still in a state of shock at how appalling I was treated today. Not only were my nails cut too short, when I was clear I wanted nothing taken off and square when I ask for rounded, they were totally unprofessional. They raised their voices, told me it was there time to relax so i should sit back, tried to say I was wrong and they were not square, then told me I should go somewhere else if I wasn't happy. That's not how customers should be treated. It was clear they preferred to sit doing nothing and chatting together rather than listening to and serving their customers. It made my granddaughter cry as everyone started to shout at us. Never been treated so badly. They ruined my own nails.

Good job, reasonable price but won't return as found customer service to be lacking. Spent 45 minutes having acrylic nails put on- and the only communication I had was to ask about shape and colour followed by gestures about to where to place my hands. The lady and staff just stood around chatting away amongst themselves. I went to another place in the area to have the nails removed a month later -much better customer service there, so will be returning to them.
