   I had the pleasure of visiting the Daybrook depot again this afternoon. The staff are usually a friendly & helpful bunch here, and today was no different. Actually, it was different, it was better! No, it wasn’t Anthony with his flowing golden locks & winning smile. No, it wasn’t Robert with his rugged good looks & affable charm. I was served by the delightful and good humoured Sara and she provided the perfect demonstration of fantastic customer service. The goods I required weren’t in stock, but she was diligent in tracking down what I needed and advising me when it could be delivered. She also offered me the choice of alternatives (that were in stock) if I needed a solution sooner. I left without what I came in for (I chose to wait for delivery of my preferred choice next week), but happy in the knowledge that the building industry is safe in Sara’s hands! If Employee of the Month nominations exist at Frank Key, Sara should be the outright winner for December. A richly deserved 5⭐️ review!!

   I ordered some smokeless coal, it was delivered when they said it was, the delivery guy was very friendly and respectful when dealing with my wife who is deaf, he placed the bags exactly where we wanted it, will use again.

   Really felt I needed to leave a review for a suprisingly speedy and efficient service-first time of use via online and was a little apprehensive due to the small nature of the order (always order a few bags more I say yet didn’t do it on this one myself) -however three bags of render later delivered in three days to a Hertfordshire postcode for a once reasonable delivery charge compared to most other companies that wanted 50/60/70£ for delivery….the service and especially the delivery cost honesty has won me over for this company and will now be saved on list for future orders many thanks and regards

   Selling second hand materials as new Collected insulation panels and didn't notice how obviously second hand they were. Dented and warped. Customer service offered a refund. Not much use when you consider the wasted time, and travel costs. They made me look like an idiot because I didn't inspect the boards when I collected them. They weren't even a good price, should have got my act together and bought online and save me the time, effort and money. So disappointed. I think that is probably the last visit to Frank Keys in Daybrook Nottingham. ________________________________________________________ UPDATE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Following Frank Key's response, I gave them an opportunity to beat a quote from Trade Insulations Ltd but they could not even match the price. Lessons learned all round. Thank you for the savings.

   Ordered (Daybrook) Tuesday, delivered Friday. They had everything I needed, good prices and free delivery which is good as some places I looked at wanted £50 delivery on a £200 order. The nice chap that delivered it was really friendly and helpful, lovely Bloke made it a pleasure to work with them. Ordered sleepers and timber. Ordered online.

   Didn't go in to the shop but we moved someone from one of the homes Frank Key own at the back. The lady that looks after the houses was really friendly and staff that we saw going in and out were sound too

   Mixed thoughts on this place. Some staff are very helpful other staff have a very poor attitude. Skip hire guys are great, fair price for skips. The quality of the timber isn't much better than the stuff they sell at Wickes, very knotty poorly cut in places. The top soil I purchased was OK if I ignore all the glass I removed from it... not very impressed as it was for a child's play area and now I'm worried about letting them on it in bare feet in the summer when the grass comes through.

   Bought our trellis from Frank Keys. To be honest, big search for 6 x 4, nobody had any. Lovely man served us, nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend.
