    Awesome place. Lovely couple who seem very knowledgeable and are extremely helpful. Great accessibility. Very small drainage step, and they have now built a ramp for even easier access. Also a low down doorbell, however, I usually just shout through the door. Fantastic place.

    An ‘old-fashioned’ hardware store with wonderfully ‘old-fashioned’ service. They stock all the bits and pieces you might need from bird seed and glue to mops, light-bulbs, nails, sandpaper etc; offer a key-cutting service; and can usually come up with a solution to those odd-ball questions I have like ‘What sort of glue can I use to make a nest out of straw for an Easter bonnet’ or ‘how can I fasten this bird feeder to a tree with something easier to undo than string?’ A gem of a shop, and Helen and Simon are very knowledgable.

They are so knowledgable about DIY stuff too and give you tips on how to go about things which is really useful to me who often does not have a clue! Always a smile of a welcome from super-helpful duo who own the place. Precious place and my favourite in the village.

The couple who run it are incredibly resourceful and helpful, and I have often found it is cheaper than the big DIY stores. Great range of kitchen and cleaning products, will cut your keys, and provide all the news on what is going on in the village. A wonderful place.
