   Placed an online order for a bag of plaster and some conduit Wednesday night. I received a text at 10.08am Thursday morning saying it was ready for collection, so I drove 5 miles to the Long Eaton site and I arrived at 12.10pm. There was a sign on the gate saying closed for lunch - back open at 1pm. So I went for a coffee and returned back at 1pm. No one about, waited until 1.15pm- gates still locked. Phoned at 1.15pm and 2pm - answering machine. Ended up driving to B&Q to collect a bag. Absolutely dreadful customer service. AVOID !!!!!

   Good location to quickly grab what you need and get to site, staff are friendly and will help customers pick the right product for the task at hand. They also stock Dewalt power tools and some hand tools in store, which is extremely handy not to go to another shop.

   The below was sent to Travis Perkins, no response so far. Avoid at all costs! "I received my order yesterday but was pretty shocked at the quality. Please find attached pictures and let me know your thoughts about if this is acceptable? Four out of the 11 pieces were badly damaged in this way while at least 3 were not even close to straight. As I mentioned before I was expecting this delivery last week so it was already delayed so I had to make the best of what you sent but is there no one who checks before you send this sort of stuff out?"

   This company is an absolute joke, first online order I have raised with them and the wood was delivered bowed, split, covered with mold growth and saturated from water damage, so no use for intended purpose and far from as advertised on website. Website informed at the point of sale the local branch would be in contact to arrange delivery date, text received 15 mins before the delivery arrived so wasn't available to check these at the time. Called branch the following morning about the issues and was informed they would contact me to arrange replacements, called again the next morning, same story. Still no contact or resolution forthcoming from the branch so having to source replacements from a reputable supplier as have no faith in the products supplied from Travis Perkins or any form of resolution after their supply of very low-grade stock. Avoid this company at all cost if you intend to receive what you have paid for!
