   Pretty awful all round since they’ve implemented new self service checkouts with a convoluted system to exit which requires you to scan your receipt to open the barrier. Only there’s no sign to tell you this, and all the tills are closed in the evening so your hands will likely be full of the bags of shopping that you’ve had to scan yourself, so you can’t actually scan the receipt, and an alarm will go off and the staff will start bellowing at you because you don’t know the new system that the management has decided to implement. And if you’re really lucky, the automatic door at the exit will close on you as well, cut your hand and damage your shopping, the staff will pretend that they didn’t see it so they don’t have to help you and when you contact customer services to report the injury, you won’t get any kind of human response, as the agent who replies to you wilfully pretends not to understand what the problem is, and that perhaps you’re being unreasonable for expecting a trip to Lidl not to end in bloodshed. For a bonus point, customer services will then tell you that there’s no way for you to contact either the shop or a regional manager to register your feedback. Lidl have sadly gone so very downhill.

   Further to Dave V's last review on here. We were today double charged for a pack of beer by Max during a full shop. My wife noticed once we were in the car and he was more than happy to refund it when we came back in! Why this item? It was a saturday afternoon I would add... very fishy indeed!

   This is my local Lidl store, and I come here about twice a week. There's a good range of fresh produce that's fresh and well displayed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I have a plus card, this allows discounts on my shopping. Weekly coupons are tailored to what I buy. The Weekly themed food from around the world are a good idea, and there's always interesting. I can usually find everything I need. The wines are good too. Sue Baxter.

   Asked staff at the till nearest to the self check out, for my receipt. But staff lady, with eyeglasses on Sunday 24th August 2025, at 13:12, did not give me my receipt and said," I will tear it up". What is the telephone number of this Lidl in Arnold? No telephone number of website.(Makes me wonder why this staff did not give my receipt despite my request, will be inquiring the bank about this).

   Not as many vegan products as I had hoped. But it wasn't too busy and I was able to browse. First time in this particular store, so wasn't sure where stuff was, and it seemed a bit hit and miss as to product placement, but the tills were quick and the lady was polite. Deffo pop back in again. Parking was easy too.

   Fantastic stores with limited customer service. Love the random Isles with special purchases/tools, electrical,gardening etc. Short life on the veg stuff, good bread and cake selection. Take away pizza

   This store is beginning to display it's Christmas essentials and presents. All is the staff are friendly and helpful. The store is very clean, always presentable and we'll stocked. Fresh fruit and freshly baked bread and cakes are always extremely fragrant as you enter this store. There is plenty of parking and trolley's also.

   It became a normality to see completely empty shelves even at 4-5pm. Went to a nearby Aldi, that one was completely stocked with everything needed.
