“I was gifted a wine tasting experience for two at Taste First. My husband and I attended and we have both come away saying how brilliant it was! James was particularly accommodating and even though we are wine novices he made us feel very welcome. James has a chat with you before hand, to get an understanding of the type of wines you like, he then adapts the tasting to suit! He makes a real effort not to just give you your ‘go to’ wine, but gives you options that are similar but something you wouldn’t usually try. The place has a lovely atmosphere and whether it was new or regular customers coming in, James was a great host to all! The deli board from Cleo’s was delicious too! Another nice touch is the candles that they sell (they smell so good!) using the empty wine bottles. Thank you for a lovely time, we will certainly be back”

“This is my local Lidl store, and I come here about twice a week. There's a good range of fresh produce that's fresh and well displayed. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I have a plus card, this allows discounts on my shopping. Weekly coupons are tailored to what I buy. The Weekly themed food from around the world are a good idea, and there's always interesting. I can usually find everything I need. The wines are good too. Sue Baxter.”

“This is a nice convenient little sainburys with decent parking at the front. Although there are plenty of spaces in the carpark, it would be difficult if towing a trailer or if you drive a large vehicle. Also, be aware there is a 30-minute parking restriction in the carpark. The shop itself is nice, it has plenty of fresh fruit and veg and a good fresh baked section. There are also plenty of self checkouts and the counters where we'll staffed during my visit, so there no cues.”

“Excellent little shop selling all the essential items and much more! The aisles are narrow and piled high and it can feel a bit cramped at busy times, but thats the price we have to pay for all that choice in such a small shop. The staff are always cheerful and helpful. There are three self service checkouts and usually one manned, mainly for lotto and tobacco products.”

“Since new management such a better place. Layout is good and more products friendly staff and quick service. £2 min spend for card so remember cash No prices for fridge items other than that perfect for nipping in to get bits like milk”
