I got followed by teenagers whom tried to steal from me and kept putting things in my trolley. I told two staff members and they said they’re too busy and that I should tell security. Security was nowhere to be seen. Awful experience, store has become a hang out place for troublesome teenagers.
Asda Bangor NI the worst place to shop, the staff are unfriendly, unhelpful, miserable. Shelves fillers block the aisles with cages, they see you and ignore you. It's untidy, dirty, it shows no one cares, the clothes bins outside are always overflowing and it's all around on the ground.
Worst Asda I've been in that I can remember. Hard to find what you want. Tills stopped worked meaning everyone in the line was sent elsewhere. Guy in front of us just gave up and left the shop which is the only way things seem to move faster here.
Awful supermarket. Completely understaffed as only 4 colleagues having to deal with all customers at tills. Full shop in the trolley and they didn’t even have someone on the checkout, had to put everything through an express till then load back into the trolley to bag at the car. Not fair on the staff that are actually there.
Felt compelled to write this as I'm becoming now very uncomfortable now going to asda Bangor, being a resident of Bangor for nearly my whole life, I have to pick up my click and collect items from here, plus i always do a bit of shopping whilst there instore, I spend quite alot weekly online and love asda george for homewares and their clothing. Every time I go in here there is a certain security guard (I've had no issues with the other security guards whatsoever) he's in his 40's with a bald head and tallish... he follows me every time I go into this store and I mean he makes it very obvious in the most smug way possible at first i thought i was Imagining it, but he followed me previously to the medication section and stood shoulder to shoulder beside me and grinned into my face then proceeds to stand opposite the checkout watching my every move!!! Maybe his time would be better spent actually manning the store looking for actual shop lifting instead of harassing a solo female who's never not paid for a thing in their life and is presentable in ever manner its really off putting and insulting to say the least. If he actually looked at the cameras instead of following me he would see there's never been a thing lifted!!! Sort it out Asda totally unacceptable there's doing a job but he's clearly crossing the line, I will be reporting this further up to head office.
Went into the Bangor store today and went to return a few items at the cigarette counter, very unpleasant staff member at 240pm on 12/02/24 named Charlene. Do not know what her problem was but no idea how she got a job in customer service. Absolutely miserable girl! Would put me off returning to the store.
Lovely to see a staff member helping someone today who had a disability. She was so kind.
Are you sure you are ketting ppl in tomorrow . Suppose to be open till 7pm on Christmas Eve,but arriving at 6:30pm with quite a few others , got turned away , not good
Good Asda supermarket with a petrol station and carwash in Bangor. There's a £1 carpark charge for 3 hours parking, but it's discounted if you spend £5 in the supermarket.
