   Worst deli counter about. Nothing but sausages and sausages rolls for 10am tea everyday. The same stuff stays sitting all day. Fully equipped for more, like every other spar in the country

   Had thought about posting this before but decided to as have spoken to so many family & friends that have commented on same thing… Apart from a small portion of staff the remaining staff DONT even give the BASIC customer service…. Notably the lady with blonde hair tied back usually wearing a gilet (possibly Supervisor) comes across extremely RUDE with never as much as a please or thank you, I had asked my daughter to get some milk out of the freezer however there had been 2 large cages in front…. Which I had to then move out of the way….struggling with my basket & two small children As the Supervisor looked on with the most unpleasant look & seemed to walk away shaking her head I can see why the Customer Service is extremely Basic here if management are leading by such a poor example….. As I had stated I have heard people voice the same I like many others will be avoiding this store

   Not sure why there’s so many negative reviews, this is a great shop and always well stocked with everything you need. Their hot food staff are great and so are the shop staff. They do a fry in the mornings and then other hot food at lunch, they have pre-made sandwiches and plenty of local products as well as butchers items and local ready meals.

   I'm usually happy with the service and general experience of this shop but this morning,we stopped in for coffee. There wasn't any milk ( usually in a jug) for my Americano, when my partner inquired the young member of staff was very rude and said that it wasn't his problem. My partner then had to purchase a small container of milk and when the young man saw him pouring it into the coffee,he asked what he was doing and my partner had to say that he had bought the milk. Definitely will not be getting coffee here again!

   Great local store, the hot food counter could do with it being managed better. Maybe better selection of food , breakfast on for longer . Maybe even do Sunday carvery dinners like other spars do, the kitchen is well equipped to do so

   What lovely staff in Spar Sunnyside Street. Since it opened quite a while ago now, I must say that my shopping experiences which could be 3 to 4 times a week have been really positive. Very helpful, polite staff, each and every one in their own personal way. If I could I would give 12 out of 10 stars. Just amazing - could teach other retail shops a thing or two. Credit where credit is due. You are a credit to Spar, Sunnyside. I could sing your praises all day long. Thank You, You really are appreciated.

   Just not a fan of the service. Accidentally walked off after my card declined and the server who said his name was Boris (clearly a fake name as his nametag said something else which I couldn't make out) started yelling at me and telling me to "stop right there or face the consequences." I stopped and implied I was a fool by saying it was a "foolish error" which I think is uncalled for. Beans were out of date.

   On the whole the staff are friendly and helpful and as I live nearby I'm frequently in. However, when I buy cigarettes, some members of staff hold on to the packet until my payment has gone through. This is uncalled for behaviour and makes me feel as if I would run off with a pack of cigs! All the staff know me and this behaviour is uncalled for.

   My local spar. Delicious pastrami and great brownies. If haven tried the apple and cinnamon cake squares your missing out. The guy who works in mace always grabs the groceries right out of my hands, not here, there is a self checkout - 5/5
