Queues are insane no matter when you go in. Very poorly staffed considering it’s the city centre’s post office. Would happily self serve but cannot post anything overseas without queueing for a customs label. Staffing needs to be addressed urgently!
Woefully understaffed (there will never be more than two people manning their six counters) thanks to privatisation looking to squeeze as much profit out as possible. Huge queues. Re-nationalise the PO please.
I was dealt with by a young gentleman in his twenties wearing glasses I think his name was Micheal. He was informative, genuinely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. He efficiently validated my new driving licence and took me through the process and completed everything. He also informed that the post office renews passports which I did not know and all my family had out of date passports. 10/10 service
Usually they are really good and friendly. However, they have lost one of my parcels here and there had so far been no outcome. Update: they actually were not at fault
An extremely bad experience. Sent an item worth £1300 here which turned out to be lost. I could not track the parcel because of the lost receipt and when I returned to the post office again the staff refused to help with a copy of the receipt or a tracking number. Three months have passed with no progress and no way to claim.
Always impressed by this post office and a pleasure to deal with compared to my local one. Fast, efficient and staff that actually want customers through the door !.
Horrific customer experience, only use if absolutely necessary. The post office is not fit for purpose since moving to the back of WHSmiths. You will face long queues with minimal amount of staff. Be prepared to wait a long time for something as simple as a QR return.
Nottingham's main post office has now been moved upstairs to the back of a run-down WH Smiths in the Victoria Centre. Shocking this has happened. How can this be a city's main post office? Understaffed and a long queue but the staff themselves were patient and helpful.
I'd pre-paid and printed my labels so should have been quite a quick process, but still ended up waiting about ten minutes as there was only one very busy chap helping out the self-service queue on a weekday lunchtime. He was doing a good job but he had about ten people asking him questions! Could do with some more assistamce on the self-service area to speed things up.
