Very large store, lots of parking spaces and the homeware section is good. However, availability of products varies and staff are often rude and unhelpful. Asda is the main supermarket in West Bridgford and I suspect the management believe they don't need to try very hard.
Got rid of the lovely cafe and replaced it with a Costa coffee!! That cafe was a lifeline for the elderly over winter and also a great help to families during this ongoing cost of living crisis. Now it’s a rubbish chain that does £5 panini and overpriced coffee. Thanks Asda, will be taking my business to Morrisons
BE AWARE ROLLBACK PRICES ARE NOTTTT BEING CHANGED ON THE PRICE SYSTEM. Customers are being ripped off by displaying 'rollback' price stickers on items which are scanning at full price at the till. Management are aware of this as many customers and colleagues have complained but using 'short staffing' as an excuse not to address this issue. Customers, please please check the items price when scanned or your receipt because you are getting fully mugged off! This has been ongoing for a whileeee. Please like/share this review because people need to know. Thank you
Yet again I've been to WB Asda and found prices at the till higher than the ones printed on the shelf edge. It's all very well talking about roll back but how often are we not actually paying the advertised roll back price.....? I've found something the wrong price at each of my last 4 visits. The store team change the price so I'm paying what is marketed at the shelf edge but how many other customers have the time or inclination to check? I've reported it today to trading standards.
I have been going to this asda for 15 years now and never in my life have i had 1 bad thing to say. Hot breakfast? You got it Cafe? You got it Photo booth, passport, family photo prints? You got it They have a wide variety of anything really from household items to furniture to any time of oriental and worldwide food. Brilliant prices especially for this economy, loads of brilliant helpful staff, open 24 hours on weekends and brilliant hours on weekends too. Highly reccomend Asda West Bridgford
2 floors of huge outlet where you could grab flower, clothes, household and different types of food as well, it would be great if the handset scanner link to rewards scheme automatically
This Asda is a shambles, they strategically run out of cheap bags and force you pay for their thick plastic, harder to decompose, 70p bags. There's never more than one or two checkouts open which often have big queues running down the isles. The pizza counter is under manned and you'll be lucky if you can get a pizza made in under an hour if at all. The staff are frequently standing about chatting while all this is happening. I've never seen such a slack business they clearly have it too easy and care nothing for their customers. Very infuriating, it's worth a couple of extra minutes drive to Morrison's or Sainsburys if you ask me.
Went into store, went to the counter to pay, instead of using a note, I wanted to use my change I had left over to get rid. Was refused service until I had gone to the customer service counter and got my change put into notes. I understand that retail is stressful but I was made to feel so small by this colleague. Legal tender shouldn't be refused regardless of whether its time consuming or not..
2 out of 12 conveyor belts open for shopping. Leaving this 1 star review whilst I queue. Disabled and elderly waiting 10 minutes to get served. Avoid this store if possible. Edit: The store was not busy, they just choose to add more and more self-serve checkouts, ignoring the fact that a lot of people don't want to or physically can't use them.
Such a convenient 24 hour option when you need a few items. The store is quiet after usual hours whilst staff work to stock shelves so be weary of boxes and pallets being moved around (though staff do all they can to keep it out of your way). Despite being busy staff are still very helpful.
