We love this place as a family or even just coming as a couple. Food is yummy. Sometimes, there can be a bit of a wait for food, but it just proves how popular this place is. Went to watch the England warm up game ( which we won ) and ended up staying for food. Lamb Koftas were tasty ( could have eaten double though), and the mixed grill was huge, foolishly ordered a side order or onion rings which wasn't the smartest , but just about finished them. The onions hidden under all the various meat were divine Atmosphere was great in there. Ended up playing 'Rock n Roll' bingo ( you play on your smartphone). Got one full house l! Was fun. If the weather was nice the beer garden looks awesome.
I visited here this week for lunch with friends it's been a while since I last visited. I have to say what a great time I had the staff were really friendly and welcoming. I ordered the steak as well as my friends and service was fantastic. When my order arrived it was nice and hot sizzling still and the food was cooked perfect. Highly recommend good for family's a nice outdoor space with enough parking. I will be visiting again very soon ☺️
We visited here on a Saturday lunchtime, it was very busy and it was clear the staff were working hard to look after the customers. We didn't book a table but strongly recommend you do if you want to go on a weekend as we could see a fair few people come in only to be disappointed. The food we ordered took some time to come out, but we were forewarned there was a delay as we hadn't booked which was fine as we weren't in a rush. The food was good and they do 20% off the bill if you have a blue light card. There's plenty of parking and it's dog friendly.
Great food at brilliant prices, service was overall good! Nice quiet atmosphere (today) which was brilliant for a nice quiet meal! We had a Sharing platter, which was very experimental mix but great size for the price!
It's hard to describe our feelings when we saw that one chicken wing clearly only got bones with a bit of coating. "Was it recycled from leftover?" "How did the kitchen miss to spot that? Obviously they've seen it otherwise it wouldn't be hidden under other wings." We did receive one replacement wing afterwards. Everything else was fine. Staff was friendly, food was tasty, especially the chicken wings. And No, (after an internal debate) we did not believe we were served recycled food but the question remains...
First time visit and extremely happy with the service and quality of the food, the location is in such a peaceful area next to a beautiful lake very picturesque, see pictures, A meal for 3 with our 2 dogs who were also made welcome very welcome (most definitely animal lovers here) The food was so tasty, well cooked and fulfilled all of our requirements, One being vegan so very happy with the quality of the food, the presentation and the taste, Cooked to perfection she said, I had the Mexican flaming challenge and the burgers were so juicy not burnt as I've had elsewhere, well cooked and tasted beautiful so wished I'd taken a picture, the 3rd meal was also cooked perfect and no complaints at all, Very much value for money, The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite especially in times like these during the Pandemic, All professional we felt very safe, Would highly recommend a visit to this hidden gem, We most definitely will be returning, Thank you very much. 2nd Visit was even better Fantastic food yet again and such great value, I cant wait to visit again
It has been refurbished since my last visit to a high standard. Pleasant atmosphere and the staff delivered the food within a good time. A lot more seats outside which will be good for the summer. Pool table, darts and some children friendly machines to keep the kids busy. Plenty of parking outside. We went for the two meals for £9.99. I would recommend the hunters chicken skillet, cannot complain for the price.
