Was sent there as a suspected uterus cancer. Had internal and external scan. The staff were so patient they were very kind and understanding. I went back for my results and all was good, thank goodness. The building is spacious, open plan and has a pharmacy, blood taking room and a cafe (very expensive) and a vending machine for other snacks. The waiting time was quick

Very well laid out unlike the chaotic QMC next door. Has a direct link to the tram. Very well organised, friendly environment and very friendly staff

Wonderful staff at Gateway G at the Treatment Centre for my surgery with Doctor Haoula. I wish I could remember the wonderful nurses name who kept me in tea and biscuits while I was in the recovery bay! She was brilliant! Sadly the fentanyI for my surgery had made me very groggy and forgetful, and I just cannot remember! Area is clean and very efficient. Wifi is fast and stable and there is full phone signal. Chairs recline fully and cosy blankets are provided on request. You also get a lovely pair of grippy socks to team with those very attractive surgical stockings! All the staff were kind, compassionate, and reassuring. This meant so much to me as I was very nervous about my operation! I'm having a follow up surgery in a few months, and really hope I can go to the same department for it!

I went to the hand fracture clinic on 16/03/2025 with a locked thumb and left 4 hours later with a pack of antibiotics and a diagnosis of a skin infection. This farse started the day before when they called me while looking at my x-ray. I never did an xray!! It turns out that the doctor was looking at an old x-ray to my ankle after a fall last year. After that there were more calls that left me thinking no one knew what to do with me. Back to yesterday, the gate was super busy. Eventually they called a bunch of us to go in and we were told to wait in a very small room. And they kept on bringing more and more people in without anyone leaving after waiting for 1.5 to 2 hours they take me back outside now for the famous x-ray. The x-ray show no fracture which i had said many times it was not broken. I go and see the doctor and without hardly looking at me and for sure no checks for signs of infection the doctor gave me antibiotics and told me I have a skin infection. When I contested his diagnose he become defensive and was not willing to check anything else. These days it looks more like get in get out than any care towards patients. There is very little eye contact and the minute they set eyes on the smallest thing they use it regardless of what the patients are saying. Not once did he even recommended a physiotherapy. I was there for less than 5 or 6 minutes. It's scary to be in there hands. The nurses and staff are the ones than hold it together and if it wasn't for them the place would be a zoo.

Outstanding! My GP had 'phoned me, a day after I'd had some blood tests. She was concerned about one result and she rang a doctor at QMC Treatment Centre. He rang me about half an hour later! He made me an appointment to see him the following day. Once there, he was friendly, very polite, caring and attentive. He examined me, asked lots of questions, then got 2 Consultants to see me. I was examined by both, who were also very informative and efficient. I was then told to go downstairs for blood tests, then back upstairs for a chest x-ray. The original doctor rang me and asked to see me, before allowing me to go home, with a treatment plan. A fantastic service.

Personally no complaints, as a patient around 2017. Nice, modern building. Doc had a good educational chat to his staff while I had a tube down my throat, which was weird but I guess that's how they learn. Parking isn't free.

Just returned from shoulder replacement surgery at the treatment centre. This is the 2nd time I've been for surgery here but the first time I've had to stay in overnight. Feel it's only right to leave a review as the NHS seems to get a lot of bad press, I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff that looked after me on both occasions. Yes its always a hard time getting appointments and consultations but when you finally get to the hospital all the staff are marvellous. The treatment centre is kept immaculate and the care is better than a private hospital, (yes I've been there too). From the welcoming nurses, to the anesthetist nurses, surgery room staff, ward staff and everyone else I may have missed, thank you for everything, you all do a wonderful job and work so hard.

Had gallbladder removed on Saturday..took me 26 years to pluck up the courage to have it removed..my nurse helped me relax and spoke to the anethastist and told her how nervous I was. All the staff kept an eye on me without intruding in my space. The whole team were caring and very professional. They knew I needed assistance before I did. They were quick to react and I didnt need to use the call button. All staff were supportive and caring. Couldn't have done more for me..I felt totally safe in their hands...really hard as I'm fiercely independent, to hand myself over totally to strangers to take care of me. You are all a credit to your profession.
