Found this place few weeks ago after a recommendation and had the best oatcakes ever! Had friends up from Sussex so decided to try Sunday lunch here today and was not disappointed excellent portions, food was delicious and hot with great service, can't wait for new menu this week and arrange our next visit
What an amazing tea & coffee room! Came to town to get my car checked out down the road and was looking for somewhere to grab lunch and chill out for a bit. Jake and Sue are the perfect pair they made some amazing food and also made us feel so welcome. They made sure everything was perfect and lovely. We sat down in garden seating area they put up and it was really a pleasant experience, enjoying the sunshine whilst eating amazing food with nice music in the background. I would definitely recommend this place! if I was a local I would visit most times. Hopefully will come back to pay another visit very soon. Keep up the great work guys.

Sunday carvery- was absolutely amazing! This was 1 persons, I was so full, I needed a nap!!! We preordered the meals, and the lady and gent that run the place were really polite, food was piping hot, and brilliant quality! Will 100% order again!
We called in today and were impressed with the choices on the menu, I'm from Stoke-on-Trent so I was very impressed and excited when I saw Oatcakes on the menu. The food, service and prices are fantastic. The owner Jay is very friendly and excellent chef we will definitely be going again.
