We’ve seen both the Halloween and Christmas shows at Soapbox Theatre Plymouth, and they were absolutely amazing. The performances were engaging, imaginative, and genuinely entertaining for both children and adults. The interactive elements really set them apart, everyone felt involved, and the energy in the room was fantastic. We were especially impressed to learn that Jacqueline had written the “Yoghurt the Yeti” story, and our daughter is absolutely delighted with her signed copy of the book. It added such a special, personal touch to an already wonderful experience. We highly recommend Soapbox Theatre to anyone looking for a memorable, festive family experience.

The kids (9 and 6) say they enjoyed the show (the imagination). Although viewing the stage was tricky unless you were in the first few rows. The sound technician was a bit out of sync with the show it self. The two actors did well, however in our showing, we had a couple kids that kept on shouting out throughout the show which ruined it a bit. Although child interaction was encouraged, some parents did not keep their children in check and got carried away. Was something to do in Plymouth near Christmas, but a bit underwhelming for a small theatre production. All this being said, the kids did enjoy it.

Yoghurt the Yeti was a wonderful way to kick off our Christmas celebrations this year. Fantastic fun performance. The mid-morning show was perfect for our 2yo toddler. Home for Christmas tree decorating and lights up, all whilst dancing, clapping and singing. He absolutely loved his first theatre experience. Thank you for your dedication, silliness and creativity!

We had the cutest time here today watching Yoghurt the Yeti. My 3 and 12 year olds loved it, with the little one saying he had a lot of fun and really enjoyed it, especially the snowball fight! It was funny and immersive and one hour was just enough without them getting restless. We would have liked to buy a book or souvenir but there weren't any. We will be watching out for new shows for sure!

Great Viking show, kids were enthralled by the great story telling, amazing props, humour and audience participation. Can't recommend this place enough!

Visited to see the Snow Cat at Yuletide with our children 8 and 5. Performance was in a nice big top/marquee adjacent to the theatre. Was chilly but had wrapped up warm and brought a blanket as advised so were nice and comfortable. Performance was magical, engaging and perfect for the children. Both absolutely loved it and can't wait to head back.

We had the most amazing day at the Wild Tribe Festival. A relaxing, magical, creative, safe family event with so many interesting things to see and do. There was a ceilidh, a pirate band, exotic animals, nature themed art and crafts, a campfire, vikings, and circus arts. Just the right balance of activity and relaxation for both adults and children. We couldn't have asked for more and we look forward to the next event!

We attended a performance of Little Red Riding Hood at the outdoor theatre at Soapbox whilst on holiday in Plymouth last week. My 3 year old absolutely loved the show and we did too, such a lovely adaptation of the original story, taking out the gruesome parts!! Have already recommended to local family and will look out for future performances next time we’re down.
