I wanted to like this for all the positives, however all the negatives made up for a incredibly disappointing experience. It starts with weird stuff like requiring a 103 GBP deposit completely separate from the pre-paid expedia cost. Then they send you the rules of staying here & require you to send a scan of your driver's license or passport. Only after, they will send "a link" to the codes costing even more time & roaming data usage. No other hotel does this! At "check-out" email telling you to cleanup before go as per "the rules" & after reviewing "the rules" I found no such rule. Later they returned my deposit, but it was only 100 GBP. Considering all else, that about figures! Stayed in room #7. 4 nights in mid-September 2025. Negatives: Substantial amount of black Mold in the bathroom (see photos). Carpet looked like it was not vacuumed, Mug & microwave had what looked like small pubic hairs in them, So, basically moldy & dirty. I felt better after washing all of the touch points in the room. Vent in bathroom not working. Over sized beach towel was bigger than the bathroom & needlessly so (hand towel & foot towel were normal size) I wanted to warm the room to 20c but of course that was not working. I called about it and they did send a tech the next day, unable to fix. Positives: Location, Onsite parking, skylight, Refrigerator & Microwave, Wi-Fi, instant hot water at both the sink & shower, Sheets & towels were clean, TV worked well, & actually had a USB port.

Arrived to the place and opened the key safe, the key wasn’t in there. We called them up and they said they don’t have another key for our apartment. They wouldn’t send a member of staff down to help us, neither would they send maintenance. They offered us 2 separate places to stay (not near eachother) but there was 7 of us and only room for 4. After an hour in the rain we decided to get a refund and find a different place. However they have since denied us a refund and lied to booking.com. Literally don’t even think about booking this place you can’t even get in. It is a SCAM!

Cheap accomodation so you have to be prepared to manage your expectations. Plus points: Off-street parking though can be sometimes restrictive (there was an SUV that never moved the several days we were there). Hair dryer, kettle and fridge. Conveniently located close to the station Reliable WiFi Negative points: A flat mattress cover which barely covered the mattresses so was constantly uncovering and ruffling up - a REAL pain. A larger cover that can be tucked under, or better still, a fitted sheet is DESPERATELY needed! Wasn't expecting to run out of toilet paper (only one part-used roll available). Zero room servicing means it was never replaced. Heating can be inadequate in winter - we were lucky to have brought a fluffy blanket which we relied on in addition to the duvet. Double bed was two singles joined together with a very hard divide in the middle.

Upon check-in, we discovered that the room was absolutely disgusting. There was mould&damp, bugs, moths, dirty pots from previous guests, overall general uncleanliness throughout the whole building. We vacated the building less than an hour of checking in and requested a full refund, whilst we found alternative accommodation. We also provided photographic evidence and expressed health concerns regarding the damp&mould throughout the building. Because we didn't accept their ‘alternative option’ which was a difficult room upstairs, they declined our request and we have not received a refund. The room was left in the same condition we entered it in. We ended up paying £15 more and stayed in a beautiful hotel, with free gym and spa access, just a 5 minute drive away! Please do not waste your money or time staying here. The service is terrible.

Walking up the stairs and to our room there was stains all over the carpet. The room also had what looked like blood stains on the bathroom floor. I didn’t feel comfortable walking around in my room in anything else other than my shoes. The shower temperature was very uncontrollably. The room was very quiet. Very good temperature for sleeping. Fridge worked really really well. Best fridge I’ve ever had in a hotel room before!

The room was clean and tidy. Self check-in was easy, as long as you read the instructions! Great location, customer support via email was excellent, and they put up with my silly questions! Thank you for an amazing stay. Will definitely be coming here again when i’m in the area.

Well! Maybe this "hotel" has changed hands recently, which would explain the positive reviews on here. But our experience was anything but positive. The bin in our room had cherry pits stuck to the bottom when we changed the bag. We ran out of toilet roll and bought more, only to find some by chance in the linen room, which we weren't told about. We stayed for 5 days - from Sunday night to the following Thursday night (June 12th to 17th 2022). The "kitchenette" was just a microwave, a tiny kettle (burnt inside with stuff coming off each time we boiled it so we bought another kettle) with equally tiny cups. The fridge worked, but very small. The bathroom floor was very creaky, which makes going to the loo in the night rather disturbing to others. We came back one evening to the fire alarm going off full blast, and it wasn't turned off for at least an hour, which makes me wonder how safe it would be in a real fire (I heard the alarm was caused by someone cooking). The car park has no lines so people just park how they want, which can reduce space. The sink in thd bathroom was tiny and the room could have been tidier, there were crumb like things in the drawer of the kitchenette side board which we cleaned. We entered the room through a door at the top of some metal stairs and were using a keypad until it disappeared on the Wednesday night. Luckily the door was on the snib so we could get in. The used our room key to get in the room. After that it looked like someone fixed the lock but very badly and we had no key or keypad to get in, but because of out timings it wasn't an issue. It looked like someone had forced the door. Safe to say we will not be returning. Checking Google just now it says its closed.

Our usual hotel was full so we researched alternatives and were very impressed by this establishment's website. How wrong we were to trust this. Our experience made Fawlty Towers seem like a documentary! The self check-in on arrival was a shock as it was not mentioned on the website. Then finding the room was a bit of guesswork. The room had clearly not been cleaned for a long while as you could write your name in the dust on the surfaces everywhere. There were masses of cobwebs too and the carpet hadn't seen a vacuum cleaner for goodness knows how long. My wife use anti bacterial sheets to do some emergency cleaning. The TV was poor and worked when it wanted to. There was not kettle in the room. After several messages and visits to reception, all to no avail, we got a call, about an hour later stating rather firmly that if we wanted hot water we had to go the the cafe area and boil the communal kettle and use a jug to bring it up to the room. Not as stated on the website, of course. This also meant no cup of tea in the morning. The shower fluctuated between clod and luke-warm, so I used it briefly but my wife didn't feel she could. We were also expected to book a time slot for breakfast. This we did. We arrived on time and had to wait with another family for over 30 minutes before there was space for us. Then the shock got worse still. Nothing promised on the menu was available. A pot of hot water was put on the table and we had to use poor sachets to make a drink not from the unused coffee machine. Nor were we able to have fruit juice or cereal. We were not asked what hot food we would like but after perhaps another 15 minutes, bacon, sausage, beans and egg (seems to be scrambled but was inedible) was brought with toast and only 1 small piece of butter between the two of us. All of this was cold by the way. Thank God neither of us is a vegetarian! Apart from a very brief visit to deliver the so called food, nobody was available to speak to about our complaints. We know the other family had more of less similar problems to ourselves. Needless to say we will not be staying here again and would advise caution for others and certainly do not rely on anything you see on the website. We have never had such a poor experience and we use guesthouses and hotels a lot.

We turned up tonight around 1715 and waited and waited for somebody to come to reception. No answer when the telephone number provided was called repeatedly. Other "guests" who had somehow managed to check in , where coming and going at will. There was a complete lack of any security. After 30+mins waiting gave up and drove the rest of the way home. This was an utterly appalling experience. Still not managed to speak with anyone at this hotel, nearly 4 hours later. Will be doing a sca

This hotel was absolutely lovely. The young ladies (sisters) running the accommodation are so friendly & helpful. Breakfast - delicious. Very reasonably priced for a such a comfortable overnight stay. Excellent.
