The printing on repeat order is so small its impossible to read even with my glasses on my medication is constantly needing to be reviewed but its impossible to get an appointment to get it reviewed ive paid my nh all my working life and now get no help
Called to book an appointment, doctor wS supposed to call bit called someone else wasting my whole day. Finally the day after they called me to tell me they would decide if I needed anti biotics or not when I tried making them aware I DID need them due to a chest infection that I ended up in hospital over and was given anti biotics.. all this AFTER 101 referred me to them needing them and rhenium refused a sicknote because I went to hospital and got ANTI BIOTICS THAT WERE NEEDED. USELESS!
Brilliant doctors and staff when you get an appointment but horrendous system. They only offer same day appointments / telephone calls. I was in a phone queue for 2 hours to be told that all appointments had done and I’d have to try again tomorrow.
Appalling since merging with another surgery. This practice never recovered from covid and the receptionists seem to think they have more power than the GP's. They cancel repeat prescriptions without letting you know or offering a medication review. A recent visit where I was told to come in for a blood pressure check ended up with no check or examination. The doctor trying to prescribe something that I have had previously that doesn't agree with me and a conversation where he tried to get me to diagnose the problem myself! May as well have had one of their pointless telephone consultations. I have reported them to their governing bodies and after 55 years I'm off to find a surgery that actually cares for its patients.
Phoned reception for a repeat prescription. I was told I needed to write a letter requesting it. I questioned this and was told go online and email surgery. Went online to find you need to log in and if you don't have a log in contact reception. Lol Why was this not mentioned when i spoke to them? Could not afford the time of queueing on the phone again as I had already waited from position 24 on the phone. Filled in a form online and sent it to medical centre. Received a text with a email to send request to. Emailed only to receive a response of, we will try to get back to you with a couple of days. Still no prescription. Looking for better surgery
I am not a fan of doctors in general so this is a big surprise for me, I moved to this surgery a few months ago. So far I can honestly say I am extremely impressed with this surgery, always get a quick response, receptionist are extremely helpful, the whole team practice seem to be really on the ball.
This surgery, is the best in the area. Staff are so friendly and very helpful and caring so well done to all of you that work here.
It's a hard time for everyone at the moment, the receptionists are lovely and help a lot when I need to make appointments for my son or mum. Very friendly.
I have been at the Church Walk Surgery for many years and I have always been satisfied with all the staff,Nurses and Doctors especially Dr.Sophie Walker who is very polite and explains clearly to you and is a asset and credit to your practice
My partner had to wait 6 weeks to see her doctor. We arrive 10 mins early as she has an appointment to see the doctor at 11.20 and an appointment to see the nurse at 11.40. The nurse comes out at 11.40 on time and calls her for her appointment. Then at 11.42 the doctor comes out and shouts her,i explain she is with the nurse. Doctor says ok i will see her after. She comes out at 11.47 from the nurse. There is nobody in with the doctor and the waiting room is now empty, i then go to reception to let them know she is back from the nurse and waiting. It gets to 12.15 and we leave as no sign of the doctor. Terrible treatment of a paitent that finds it hard enougthto get to the doctors!
