I went on a busy night, a few days before Christmas, it was very busy but had a great atmosphere. I tried ordering via the app and it worked great, very fast service for drinks and food. The food was e perfect, I tried the Panini, I would have it again. I will be back, I enjoyed this place.

This is one of the best Wetherspoons I’ve been in. The food was great and the atmosphere. Massive shout out to George his customer service was excellent while serving the drinks.

Called in on a very quiet Thursday night. Service very slow as staff too busy chatting to friends to serve. To add insult to injury lager served in a plastic glass. When I queried this member if staff replied its all plastic glasses after a certain time on "busy" nights. Needless to say didn't bother having a second. Luckily other pubs nearby as an alternative.

Great service and food, I enjoyed reading to history of Cora Pearl, William Bligh and St Andrews church here. Love the spacious feel of the pub and interested in the disco lights further to the back. Maybe there are live events here.

JD Wetherspoons (The Union Rooms), Located on Union Street in Plymouth and within walking distance to the Hoe, Theatre Royal and the Pavilion. The menu offers a wide selection for a casual bite and affordable drinks. It gets very busy, especially during the weekend . Ordering is simple; choose your table, place your order at the bar and let the friendly staff do the rest. Excellent location!

Good value for money, clean and tidy, and the only Wetherspoon Pub than managed to get the entire food and drink order correct, even down to 'no ice but straw and glass' from the on-line menu, so well done and thank-you to the attentive staff.

A well sized Wetherspoons with ample room in the outside seating area, impressive array of plants. Ten out of ten for the toilets on the ground floor!

We met up with old friends that are over from Australia. We had a lovely meal with drinks included. Very pleasant and it was quite busy. Very pleasant staff and service.

The Union Rooms is clearly a flagship Pub in the Weatherspoon chain. It’s an excellent venue with ample space inside on 3 levels overlooking the City Centre plus a great outdoor space. The staff were all very helpful and efficient, even when stressed by the high numbers to be served! Food as always was good, but it is the food that held back the 5th Star. It’s most times, cooked to perfection, but as at ALL Weatherspoons, only “just hot enough”. There must be a common problem here. How can you cook perfect poached eggs like this and they arrive “warm”. I don’t get it. Come on Tim, sort it out and then it’ll be 5*
