   Where do I even begin, Cockliffe country house was an amazing place to get married. We first went along to one of the event days, after seeing lots of other venues we knew Cockliffe was the place we wanted to get married. The staff were incredible and couldn’t do enough for us, we was invited to a menu tasting evening - the food was incredible! But the night itself was also a great way to speak to other couples, see the venue in the evening, and see some styling options and of course try the food options (it was too hard to choose) On the run up we were assigned a wedding coordinator- Emilie, who was wonderful. We had a sit down meeting in person and discussed everything and she fulfilled everything we wanted on the day. All of the serving and bar staff was professional and friendly on the day too. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, breakfast the following morning was included too for all the guests, again amazing! Only down side was that the room were very cold in the morning, (we got married in November) The venue itself is a country manor and well maintained, grounds are well kept, the bar, toilets and main room were perfect and clean to an excellent standard. But honestly the more incredible day, everything ran smoothly and again Emilie was perfect did everything I asked nothing was too much trouble, you can tell she has done so many weddings over the years and knew what she was doing I had no doubt in my mind we picked the best place for us! Thank you again to everyone at Cockliffe! Worth every

   Cockliffe was the last wedding venue that we viewed, but within five minutes of visiting, we knew that this was the venue for us for our celebration. The beautiful countryside setting, the understated splendour of the building and grounds, and the friendliness of the staff were immediately apparent, and our first impressions were carried through all the way to our wedding day itself, which was just the most perfect day and everything we had hoped for and dreamed of for an autumnal wedding. Andrea, our wonderful wedding coordinator, was brilliant in helping us to plan our special day, and then on the day itself, she and her amazing team and colleagues were fantastic in making sure we could enjoy the day, and the evening, to the fullest, and that we didn’t have anything at all to worry about. All of our friends and family commented on how beautiful the venue was, how amazing the food was, and how helpful and excited for us all the staff were, and just other little things that meant everyone was relaxed and had such a good time. Cockliffe, and all the wonderful staff there, will always hold a very special place in our hearts, not just as the place where we tied the knot, but because everyone at the Hotel made such an incredible effort to give us the perfect day. We’ll forever be grateful, and would absolutely recommend the Cockliffe to everyone as a wedding venue!

   We first walked round the venue in May 2023 and completely fell in love with it. We booked a couple of days later and since we booked nothing was too much trouble. We had a lot of changes to our wedding package and every change we had was met with ‘of course we can do that for you’. The whole team were fantastic at responding to many email queries I had, no matter how small they were. Joanne was incredible helping us make the small changes so the day reflected us and Andrea was amazing on the day. Andrea was by our sides from first thing in the morning until late into the evening, ensuring we have everything we needed and more. We would recommend Cockliffe to any future couple who want the day personal to them but with constant support from a team of professionals. Thank you to Joanne, Andrea and the team for making our day unforgettable, we are eternally grateful. Mr and Mrs Fraser

   We are struggling to put into words how perfect Cockliffe is as a wedding venue. The staff, the grounds, the rooms, the food, the location - everything about Cockliffe is second to none. A massive shout out to Emilie who was our wedding coordinator, nothing ever seemed too much trouble, her personal support was greatly appreciated and we were sad to see her leave at the end of her shift on our big day! From our initial booking, to the online portal, the tasting evening to our big day - everything was faultless and easy to navigate. All the staff are so lovely and always smiling, the help with our decorations and the way they set them out was brilliant. The exclusivity of the venue was executed seamlessly, they have the operation down to a fine art, you truly wouldn't know that there are weddings the day before or after your own. A big factor for us was having a dog friendly venue and Cockliffe definitely is, they are so welcoming and even have a dog friendly room so our boy could be there for the whole day. We booked the rooms out for our guests to stay and they all commented on how spotless and wonderful they were. Our day was honestly perfect and we have to give a lot of the credit to Cockliffe and all the staff, we would recommend the venue to anyone and everyone. Thank you again, Mr & Mrs Goodwin

   Looked around with a view to a wedding venue must first say staff were excellent. on this occasion it wasn't for us though. one or two things didn't mesh with what we wanted first impressions are of a well used location that could do with a bit of tlc carpets in both bridal suits were stained in one the 4 poster bed was coming apart on the base toilet seats in a couple of the apartments were chipped. thought it was just me being overly critical but bearing in mind there's a damage deposit having a looked at a few other venues on a similar cost Cockliffe could do with a little maintenance to put a bit more of a finish on it

   We held our wedding at Cockliffe Country House in June this year and would highly recommend the venue. Andrea and her team were really friendly, helpful and professional and communication was good from first booking in 2018, through 2 Covid delays until the day finally came. They looked after the little things as well as the big ones and helped our day run really smoothly. The food was great and the accommodation was also very spacious and comfortable.    We absolutely give Cockliffe Country House five stars. We got married here in September and we couldn't have felt more looked after by the team. We mainly dealt with Andrea and Sacha and they were both extremely easy to deal with and couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy with arrangements made. The main room is beautiful and was perfect for the ceremony and the reception. There is a lovely outside space where we very much enjoyed time after the ceremony. We had a wonderful day and we really think it was the staff as well as the venue that helped make that happen.

   We cannot say thank you enough to Cockliffe for giving us the best day ever for our wedding. The Team were supportive, professional, responsive and knowledgeable right from the beginning of the process, which we really appreciated as we didn't know where to start when it comes to planning a wedding! They were happy to hold our hand throughout the whole process. The day itself was absolutely flawless, with staff sorting out things that we had not even thought about, getting things done behind the scenes and solving any problems that arose before we even knew there was an issue. The food was delicious, all our guests have commented on how wonderful the food was, from the three course wedding breakfast to the evening buffet and the breakfast served the morning after. But the staff are what make this place, they are superb. It was like having your wedding organised and run by friends - they were so kind, so friendly and so helpful but make no mistake, these people are professionals and know what they are doing. When the night came to an end, the Cockliffe staff packed up all our things while we went to bed and in the morning it had all been carefully stored in the reception area for us to collect and load into the car. I am aware that we were the fifth wedding they had back-to-back that week, with more after us in the following days but you wouldn't know it with the warmth, support and enthusiasm they showed us for our wedding. All the staff, without exception, those behind the bar, those serving food, Sam & Dan in the horse cart and those cleaning up were superb. Special thanks go to Sacha, Kate and Demi, three of the warmest, calmest and most professional people we have ever met. The venue speaks for itself, it is gorgeous and comfortable. So thank you again Cockliffe for giving us, our family and our friends the best day ever.
