An impressive and interesting home/furnishing shop. Staff are friendly and helpfull with many interesting and quality pieces to see and touch. Generally found Maven well worth a visit
We visited Maven to have a look at and sit on the HAY Quilton sofa. Suzanne, Sarah, and Claudia were so helpful and welcoming, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. We were able to look at and feel over 100 fabric swatches, while Suzanne kindly explained the composition and abrasion ratings of each fabric line. My wife was eager and ready to place an order for a 3-seater that day, but thankfully Suzanne encouraged us to take our time, think about it, measure our space, and review samples within the room to better gauge how the colours and textures behaved in context. After taking Suzanne's advice, we realised the 3-seater would NOT have gotten around the corners of the entry to our lounge—so thank you SO much Suzanne! Using the sofa dimensions provided by Maven I modelled up the space to determine the best configuration. With Maven's constant support we felt confident when finally placing the order. We are so incredibly happy with our sectional, ottoman and cushions! Delivery was carried out by two lovely gentlemen. I appreciate them carrying the very heavy pieces up two flights of stairs! I highly recommend a visit to Maven! The shop is gorgeous, and located in a beautiful neighbourhood!
I needed help putting together a curated set of furniture for my living room. I had ideas of my own but felt overwhelmed trying to visualise everything and make it all work together. I turned to Patricia at Maven after spotting some of their pieces while abroad. Patricia’s patience, flexibility, and design expertise made the whole process so much easier. She helped guide me toward the right combination of products without ever being pushy. Communication throughout the lead time was excellent, and the organisation of logistics, delivery, and installation was seamless. I’d happily work with Maven again.
Was very much let down by my shortfall of an experience in this shop. Was initially so excited to visit as they advertise online a super selection of brands and the shop floor looks amazing - I give them that, but nothing more. I entered to have a nose and there were two staff members who were rearranging some furniture. I made my way towards where they were. Not once was I welcomed, looked at, or given any interest to. Now I wouldn’t really care for this, however not long after me, a fabulous looking older woman came in. This lady got a massive “Hello! Can we help you? Don’t mind us, just trying to move this ha ha ha” and I’m standing there feeling like a dick because it’s apparent my post-gym hair and outfit perhaps doesn’t fit their ideal customer brief. We can get everything online these days. Our high streets are dying and buying luxury items like this store has should be a whole luxury experience itself. I thought to give this place a second chance however would rather take my money elsewhere. Unfriendly. A poor representative of the beautiful brands inside.
Lovely friendly place for dogs and people seen beautiful plants and had a small coffee sitting outside in cool funky chairs
A must visit in Belfast - perfect for gifts and considered, curated homewares . Patricia, Catherine and the rest of the team are so friendly and knowledgeable. They also support a wide range of local designers and artisans. Really appreciate having spaces like this in Belfast to visit and shop from!
Amazing homeware and design shop just off the Lisburn road. Has a very Scandinavian feel to a lot of the items although a lot of it is locally designed. Well worth a visit.
Very friendly staff, gorgeous pieces of furniture. Exceptionally warm and inviting setting! Have recommended to multiple friends and family!
Nice store stocking lovely Scandinavian goods and very nice staff. Delivery was promised in 6-8 weeks but it took 12 weeks for my goods to arrive.
