The atmosphere at the Flying Circus is top notch. This pub truly has it all. Friendly staff and great owner. Also catch some great live music.
A great pub for live music and beer. It's situated near the castle and the canal and has loads of interesting buildings around it, a good area for a day out. The place has a mix of a Monty Python and live music theme right through it and a good range of cask and craft beer. I'll definitely be back
If you're in Newark this is definitely one to visit. Often music on the stage but it was Sunday evening and none on today. Not many in the main pub but a few drinkers popping in However an impromptu singalong with guitar player was going on in the alley courtyard. And the locals allowed us to bellow along. Some off the wall artefacts and posters...on the wall. Must come back on a music night. I'm sure it'd be great. Several real ales on offer but none that were outstanding to me. Friendly vibe as well
Great pub. Awesome choice of drinks and just a lovely atmosphere! They do regular live music events, which are great and I love that we don't have to travel out of Newark to see some great quality bands. The choice of drinks is also good and there's definitely something for everyone. The open fire is always a bonus too!
Busy, live band playing blues, not my choice, staff on the ball. A livelier band would be a choice for me, we all like different music. Good beer selection.
Unique pub with awesome atmosphere and epic beer selection that rocks hard with easily best live bands in the area.. Staff are great and rather cool plus banging beer garden and upstairs cocktails on Saturday night.. Legend of a pub, Cheers x
Saw Milkmen here on Saturday evening , very enjoyable. Upstairs room great for bands and plenty of seating and a bar upstairs also .
Great ales, lovely music. Only 4star due to toilets needing serious refurbishment. Not fit for amount of people the pub gets in it. Especially when a band is on.
One of the best bars in Newark. Live music most weekends brings it to life, and it's a relaxing vibrant place the rest of the week. Craft selection has dipped recently which is a shame. Staff always great and polite.
