   We had an unforgettable stay at Altahammond House! From the moment we arrived, Heather and her husband Tom welcomed us with genuine warmth and kindness. They are incredibly attentive and we immediately felt at home. The homemade breakfast prepared by Heather was absolutely delicious, made with fresh, local ingredients — the perfect way to start the day. If you're looking for a peaceful, welcoming place full of character, look no further. Altahammond House is a true gem, and Heather and Tom are its heart and soul. We will definitely be back!

   We stayed here during our visit to Northern Ireland, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The location offers absolutely stunning views that made our stay even more memorable. The hosts went out of their way to help us, even arranging a pickup from the railway station, which we greatly appreciated. Each morning began with a warm, homely breakfast that made us feel like we were in our own home. The cozy atmosphere and thoughtful touches throughout made this stay special – highly recommended!

   Beautiful location, great food and fab staff - very accommodating (I use a walking stick and other medical aids). One member of the serving team, Tilly, went above and beyond and was very helpful throughout the afternoon/evening. We attended a wedding reception there, and everything was fantastic!

   Awesome venue with amazing staff. Was at my cousins wedding, but was late in getting my rsvp, so wasn't going to be having dinner. They were going to set an extra table for just us, but fitted us in, as some people didn't make it. They went out if their way to make us feel welcome

   Absolutely stunning wedding venue. Heather and Tom are the perfect host of this quirky venue. The house is beautiful with well appointed and tastefully decorated bathrooms Each one unique. Our day was amazing from start to finish . We were treated like royalty. Highly recommend.

   We had our wonderful winter wedding at Altahammond, it couldn’t have went better. Heather, Tom and their staff work tirelessly to make sure everything goes well. The food was outstanding and everyone loved it! As for the setting it is just perfect! If your looking for a quaint, quirky and romantic venue look no further than Altahammond.

   Heather and Tom are just about as good as it gets. Great hosts, lovely rooms and the bonus of getting to feed the donkeys made for a memorable stay. Perfect place to stay if you are going to the Gobbins. So helpful with recommending a local place for dinner and we will definitely be back for a longer stay on our next trip to Ireland.
