Room is good with on suite but has low ceiling at one side. Bumped couple of times. Host is nice and pleasant Area is noisy
It's cheap but it gets the job done very well. The bed is comfy and the owner is super nice. The low water pressure for the shower may be a problem for some but it's acceptable for a few nights stay. Definitely will stay here again.
First of all, Kevin is a gentleman. A man with a huge amount of local knowledge, with maps and bus routes to boot. For someone who is currently enjoying his first time in NI, I couldn't have wished for a better host. My room was immaculate, and Kevin certainly is not the sort of stingy host you'd get at a chain hotel: a sumptuous compliment of coffee, tea, and milk was provided. The bed is exceptionally comfortable. I didn't have chance to stay for breakfast but I am certain that it maintains the high standards seen elsewhere in this fine establishment. I will definitely be staying there again.
What a brilliant little place. Yes, check in was slightly unique (I felt like I was gatecrashing someone's living room!) but I was given a warm welcome by Kevin and given info about the local area, transport, etc. My room was on the small side, but since I had no luggage, it didn't bother me. Most importantly It was spotlessly clean, there was ample tea and coffee (which was replaced daily) and the hairdryer was powerful (unlike in many places). I really enjoyed my stay, and would happily return.
It is a simple and cheap place to stay for a couple of nights. It provides all the basic stuff you expect, without any extra luxury, which is fine. The rooms are small, so they are for people who are not staying a lot inside and basically want a place to safely. The host is really friendly and kind. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The only thing which can improve is the soundproofing of the rooms. You can clearly hear all the noise from the outside. The neighbourhood is quiet so any noise are from the other tenants.
The proprietor is a friendly person and poised to go out his way to make customers happy and comfortable. It’s indeed a nice place to pass the night
Owner was very friendly, added a personal touch to the stay that you don’t often get from staying in hotels, his wife was also very friendly and very happy to accommodate during the breakfast. We also had our bed linen made up and room cleaned which we didn’t expect as only were staying for 3 days, very friendly all round and only a short trip from the city centre, would recommend
A small surprisingly comfortable room, an accommodating place with a good host and a good breakfast. The neighborhood was amazing in it's historical significance. It is right in the middle of the"trouble," of the late 60s, 70s and gave us the opportunity to meet amazing and hopeful people. Staying at the Springfield B and B was a gift. One we will always treasure..
The owners were very friendly. Kevin gave a great introduction to the city upon check in and sites where June always cooked us an amazing breakfast.
Totally agrees with the person below, very friendly in every way. Kevin took his time to explain how to get to every place, gave us some advice where to eat and take a drink etc. The room was clean and fresh in every way. Breakfast was great to.
