   I had a hip replacement on Friday and so far everything is progressing well. The care and attention received from everyone was exemplary. Mr Holroyd was extremely professional, kind and reassuring as was the anaethatist. From the moment I arrived for my operation I was welcomed and looked after. The after care support from all the staff was amazing, particularly Laura, Adam and Toby. The food was excellent and my wife had some meals with me. I couldn't have been better looked after by such a wonderful staff. A big thank you to all the team and what a brilliant hospital. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

   I had a hip replacement last week at the Nuffield and although it's too early to tell how it's gone, I just want to praise the exceptional care and attention I had during the whole process. Lovely clean room with all the mod cons and ensuite. The food was good. I recommend the sticky toffee pudding and custard, the best medicine! The physio team were excellent and helped prepare me really well for my return home with my Zimmer frame and crutch skills increasing 10 fold . The nurses were great and extremely professional but also approachable despite how busy they were. Special shout out to Sandy and the lovely Filipino lady who I can't quite remember her name, Livia? The pharmacist, Toby was a great guy too even though he spoke at 100mph. I recommend taking notes although he did provide me with plenty of extra info in the meds bag. Thank you to all the team and what a fantastic hospital. All health care should be like this for everyone!

   I attended a consultation with my husband to speak with Mr Mark Williams, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon about my husband’s osteoarthritis of the hips. Mr Williams was a delight to meet because we found him caring, thoughtful, interested and so patient in his manner. The conversation was unhurried and Mr Williams clearly understood our needs, providing expert guidance and reassurance. We left the appointment feeling valued, encouraged and at peace regarding next steps in the ongoing process. Mr Williams is an absolute credit to Nuffield Health and should be held in very high regard. Heartfelt thanks. Mr & Mrs J. Salmon

   Arrived yesterday to have a full hip replacement. I was greeted by very friendly staff and checked in, waited 5 minutes and then taken to my room. The whole experience has been a very pleasant one. I can not praise the staff here enough for there friendly caring attitude while remaining very professional. All the staff I have encounted have been very nice from nursing staff to catering staff, all the theater staff to the recovery team. I would happily recommend Nuffield hospital at Derriford to anyone needing Thier services. Should I ever need these kind of services again, Nuffield Hospital Derriford will definitely be my first choice.

   The single worst customer service experience I have ever had. No communication between departments, cancelled appointments at last minute notice due to a faulty scanner and no ownership of mistakes. Unable to deal with a complaint when a patient challenges their behaviours, standards and being met with "we will never reach your expectations and therefore you should reconsider who you use going forward". There is simply no appreciation or recognition that they are meant to differentiate between a private patient and one who is not. I will never ever use Nuffield Health for anything going forward and a very timely lesson learnt.

   I had an absolutely lovely stay here for my operation with Mr Fitton. The nursing staff were so kind and attentive, the anaesthetists were friendly, talkative and really put me at ease when they were getting me ready to go under. Every step of the way I was talked through what would happen and as someone who has never stayed in hospital or had an operation, it was much appreciated! Mr Fitton did a spectacular job and is such a gentleman as always. The catering staff were really accommodating of my dietary needs and were always at hand to help, the food was also amazing. Couldn’t be happier with my experience and a big thank you to everyone at Nuffield for taking care of me so well!

   Had an operation here and from the time I walked in door at 7am I felt cared for. From the surgeon right though to the lovely lady who brought me coffee, everyone was smiles and constantly checking if I needed anything. Obviously nurses always deserve praise, but these were the most charming and attentive I've ever met. I would honestly say my recovery has actually been sped up, and I'm now looking into Nuffield Healthcare for if I need treatment in future.
