   Was in this morning with a fractured finger, I get anxious in hospitals yet the staff I dealt with were amazing and accomodating. They made sure I was comfortable the entire time, treated me professionally and quickly. I was then guided through after care, what to do / what not to do for the next few weeks. I Hopefully wont need to go back for anything serious in the future, but if I do, I know ill be well looked after!

   Cannot thank the staff enough for the first rate care they provided to my dad. The doctors and nurses on Heatherington were fantastic and were proactive in my dad's care with acute issues outside of their department. They were respectful and understanding of his complications and the difficulties surrounding his discharge from hospital. I would particularly like to thank Natalie and Precious who were brilliant.

   Excellent patient care received in the Paediatric Allergy Clinic this morning. Thank you to all the staff, especially Dr Tom Gorst, the male Receptionist and nurse Shelley. We felt so well looked after and really appreciated how lovely and warm you were, particularly with an anxious child. Shelley had a wonderfully warm, motherly nature and this was really appreciated. You were all friendly and fantastic, thank you!! ❤️

   From A&E (hectic) to Day admission to hospital for surgery to physio department. Brilliant brilliant service every step of the way. With smiles, warmth and empathy. I genuinely felt cared for and observed all were treated this way. This is what all hospitals should aspire to!

   I am 76 and attended the day surgery unit on the 25th September for a hernia operation. From the nice lady on reception to all the medical staff and the recovery nurses I received the most professional treatment and had everything explained to me throughout my stay. I would like to thank all the staff for the way I was treated.

   Had to go to the radiology department with my son. First time going for a booked appointment. Really quick and easy we were greeted at the door by a happy lady with good directions to where I needed to go. In and out within 30 mins. Clean and tidy again with a good coffee station by the entrance with good prices.

   Just fantastic. Took my husband with serious burns from a wood burner on Friday night. He was seen within 10 minutes as it was potential very serious. Very kind and efficient staff. Well done and thank you Torbay Hospital.

   Our local hospital for the last 16 years have overseen the birth of both gran children and have treated most of my close family over the years. The staff are truly amazing especially in these covid days. Communication via letter and phone is efficient and informative, the site itself is clean and has a busy A&E department, a beautiful Chapel for prayer and reflective time, the restaurant is huge and has a trust cafe and shop in outpatients. Car parking is chargeable but extensive. The hospital is served well by stagecoach timetabled buses. Nearest railway station is Torre.
