Excellent experience today using pharmacy first for the first time . I booked online the night before which was very convenient. The pharmacist was knowledgeable, efficient and thorough during the consultation. I would definitely recommend and use the service again .

Have since moved to another pharmacy as i don't have the time to wait it a very long queue to then be told only half of the prescription is done yet I had been sent a text notification.

I am very disappointed with the customer service at the Stapleford branch. My husband collected my prescription on my behalf, but the cashier mistakenly charged him for two prescriptions instead of the one we intended to pay for. When we returned to Boots to explain what had happened, they simply asked for my name and my husband's card. No apology was offered for the oversight, even when my husband inquired about how this could have happened. We were informed that it was likely a new staff member in training. We also had to ask how long it would take for the money to be refunded; only then were we told it would take three working days. This experience reflects a complete lack of customer service! It is no wonder that so many people are turning to online pharmacies. If this trend continues, traditional chemists may become a thing of the past!

Do not answer the phone, and actual service for texting when your medication is ready needs you to enquire even though they have had the prescription from your Doctor days before. For a chemist a poor show, was so very much better with extremely helpful and lovely staff before Boots took over.

Everyone working in this store is a delight to deal with. They are extremely patient (sorry), knowledgeable & helpful. I used to have my Boots prescriptions delivered but they were useless & unreliable. In-store however, if an online prescription is taking longer to process than normal they will do all they can to see it is prioritised. The only downside is that they are no longer open on a Saturday. That’s a very poor decision taken by Boots PLC.

Of all the days to close who thought Saturday closure was a good idea ?

If you’re in a hurry, don’t bother. Not sure if the staff could go much slower, one assistant is particularly rude and probably shouldn’t be in front of customers if she dislikes them so much.

This chemist is an absolute disgrace. In the present situation there response to telephone calls is to not answer. Then when you try to ring again they purposely take the phone off the hook. We have been trying to contact this chemist for four days and the same happens everyday we have tried to contact them. We are self isolating due to health issues and cannot get any information on prescription delivery so now have no other option than to risk myself by going to the premises to collect our medication. They should at least take calls to explain the proceedure they have in place.
