After experiencing pain in my trap, shoulder, arm and wrist Mike, was super quick at diagnosing the issue. After some good home stretches, in house manipulation of the nerves (zero pain) and acupuncture I'm nearly bact to full flow. Really happy with the out cone and personal experience.
I can’t recommend Kirstie enough! From the very first session, she took the time to truly understand my issue with my ankle and tailored a treatment plan. At each session Kirstie explained the exercises clearly, made sure I was doing them correctly and gave me practical advice for recovery at home. It is also clear in each session and with frequent check ins that Kirstie really cares about her clients.
I've seen Michael three times now for a few issues. He has listened with a lot of kindness and given me exercises which are building my strength. Hopefully I'll be back to running soon! Would definitely recommend.
Soft Tissue Massage at Modbury Clinic with Kirsty Manning - Kirsty took a detailed assessment of my pain and tension issue that I find I constantly live with. The soft tissue massage was amazing - it felt like Kirsty was able to get to the route of the tension and release it in a way I have not experienced. It was so good I booked in again in 6 weeks to help manage my tension which always builds up. Thank you Kirsty - I was hugely impressed.
I had the most amazing massage with Kirsty! She asked me which areas I would like her to focus on. She used the perfect pressure and I felt totally chilled out at the end of the session. Kirsty is very professional and clearly knows her way around every soft tissue. She has a very warm character and makes you feel at ease straight away. I would highly recommend a massage with Kirsty!
Michael has been the 5th therapist I have worked with since a shoulder injury. 8 months after the injury, we find him. I finally feel assured and confident I can heal. His innate knowledge, intuition and professionalism was most uplifting and time shall tell. Our son and daughter have also worked with him, and they have nothing but positive words for him. Well worth the visit to Ashton Physiotherapy…well impressed with Mike’s approach to treating me. Mike knows his business well and gives good advice how to treat/exercise at home. Very professional and knowledgeable. 50 minute sessions gives the physio a good time to do their stuff rather than the 30 minute rush sessions. Definitely recommend Mike Ashton.
Spotlessly clean, spacious, practical and pleasant space. Mike is very thorough in his exploration of the problem, both conversationally and physically to get the right solution. He is approachable and encouraging and his confidence in our combined success is reassuring. This is being worked on by a tailored physio exercise programme, deep tissue (and soft tissue) massage.
A great session with Mike. Clear diagnosis and a comprehensive but manageable set of exercise for rehabilitation. really like the use of the MyPhysio app to help guide exercises and track progress
